Probably they'll trade goals.
They may even trade some punches.
I think Boston will get some goals...not so sure about the Kings. Back-to-back road games against Boston and Thomas, sounds like a shutout for the Kings.

Bernier is fine
Lombardi won't make a big time panic trade
Milan Michalek will be a King

i agree

i agree that it won't be a 'panic' trade

i know you've never been the biggest Alex Frolov fan, but for you to suggest this with a bent that you'd welcome it is almost ludicrous. i mean if Frolov drove some of you guys nuts, i can't wait to see what happens if Michalek and his remaining 3-years @ $4.3 Million are gonna do to you.

I never said I'd welcome Michalek. It just seems like a player Lombardi would go after because he can be had cheap. Now is not the time to trade our best assets for anyone because the Kings are a few years away from contending.

The thing I like about DL that is also frustrating is that he is a man who will walk away from a deal and leave his cards on the table if it isn't exactly what he wants. The guy just doesn't blink, ever. He either will get what he wants or will simply walk leaving the other team to either renegotiate give in or give up.

That said when the deal is right he will make it.

I just don't see any transactions this early in the season for the Kings unless it's an offer DL can't refuse.

DL did say that he likes to break the season into 20 game segments when determining what tweaks if any need to be made. That said the guy won't be pushed into taking a player(s) to get the player he wants. If there were to be any deals at any point in the season they have to be right for DL to make a deal.

It could happen but not if it isn't right in my opinion that is. As for Boston their mgmt is very solid and not prone to panicking either so there ya go.

Michalek is coming off a pretty big knee injury, I doubt he's on the Kings radar

I believe the term is "Gayby", I just traded one for an Ipod. As for the Boston trade rumors Savard is set to return around the new year, Sturm has been quoted saying he should be back mid December. Wheeler? Dude has 5 points this year and scored a whole 38 points last year, numbers Alex Frolov would laugh at. PASS!

it just seemed as such with how certain you sounded about it.

if they are a few years from contention, some members of this core are in trouble.

... I don't blame people too much for not seeing what I wrote, because Tonellisghost posted "War and Peace, the Hockey version" right after mine.

omg I'm watching the Westgarth-Gaustad fight again, Westy landed a nice right at the end, that gave him the decision, in my opinion
