I think every time I predict a Jacket win, they lose. So I'll say 5-2 SJ. 2-2 going into the third then CBJ will tire out, get into penalty trouble and throw the game away.
i hope it garon, mase was named puckdaddy's #1 star last night...time to reel him back in for a couple of days...
Agreed. Playing a full 60 min against the Sharks no less after just facing 50 SOG the night before can be....well physically demanding I imagine. Put in a rested Garon. Its not like he hasn't been hot lately as well.
Good morning all. Sitting here at the golf course enjoying my morning caffeine. Props to all who made it through lasts nights game way to bring one home for us non night owls.
Also glad to see my captain kept the goal streak going last night. Way to go RICKY! Here is to hoping we put one in joe thortons ass tonight and send the sharks home crying!!!!
Hoping for a Buckeyes football, Basketball, and Jackets Hockey win tonight, Going for the Trifecta boys and girls, Whats up COUGAR!!!!!!!!! THE captain is back in town even if i am at work all day!!!!!!!!
No GDT for tonight's game? I'd do it, but I don't know how... and I'm still considered a "rookie" on these boards... but anyway...
GO JACKETS!
What Rumble said. Just make sure they don't get posted before midnight (columbus time) on game day (we're superstitious folk) and have a title that has both the teams playing and the time. Other then that, one has creative license (although lines would be nice).

I'm starting to believe in these guys again. And win or lose tonight, this western trip has already exceeded expectations. Having said that I really want to see another win!

Don't feel bad, I've been here for (???) seven years and I don't think I've ever started one.
Anyway, I managed to stay up for last night's game and hoping to suck it up for tonight's.
I fully expected losses before the two previous games, so I'm going to do that again.
I have been pleasantly surprised with the last two wins. Holding on for dear life, is tough way to win but a win is a win. The Sharks are as potent as LA and Anaheim, so here we go again.
On a side note, I would love for Filatov to get a goal, he needs to get some confidence going. Is it just me or is he overly trying to avoid contact and getting rid of the puck quickly? Brass went on a nice streak after his first of the season, looking for Filly to do the same.
I think they've got the best chance since last year to get another win in the Tank. I just hope the result is different than the last time I said that.
I'm not sold on this team just yet. With the travel and back to back, I'm thinking. Sharks 5, Jets, I mean Jackets 3.
You have to admit, this team has shown a lot of resolve/toughness on this roadtrip. More so then even I thought they had. Not ordering my "Mission Accomplished" banner yet but still impressed.
Garon should play. Can the Jackets score oone more night on the west coast?
This is a critical game for the Jackets.

Took at peak over on the Sharks board to see who their starting keeper would be, and most of the posts in their GDT are predicting "7-1 Sharks, 11-1 Sharks" etc - with the general consensus being "let's take out our frustrations on this weak team".
I'm not the trouble-making sort - but I would love to point out that even though we're tied in the standings, we have lost less games than they have (OT points).
Here's to the Jackets shutting up those tunnel-visioned Sharks fans, once and for all.
3-2 Jackets. Nash, Filatov, Umberger - Brassard scores 3 assists (one ES, one PP, one SH), Garon makes 32 saves because that's his favorite number, and Jared Boll TKO's Ryane Clowe in the second period. Pavelski scores both Sharks goals, and Antti Niemi gets kicked off the bench for eating a box of popcorn during the game.

Just to be fair, after every loss for CBJ, you would read the same thing in our next GDT.
Check out the LA thread from this week...
