Average career length for an NHl player ?

Has anyone ever seen a stat for this ?

If so any break downs for defensemen vs offensive players ?

Goalies ?

Not sure now, but I did some research back at the lock-out, and back then it was 4 years. Can`t say I saw any breakdowns on goalie, forwards or defence though

Does this 4 years include all those randoms with like 4 games played in one season?
