I'm kind of surprised I thought he was doing well enough for his role. Guess Murray really is addressing the lack of production with the bottom 6.

Wonder if Voros will just draw in or if Laliberte or Maroon will be called up.

I thought that line of Parros, Green and Carter were doing well in their role?

I was kind of fine with the Mikkelson and Bodie waivers but I'm actually kind of disappointed with this decision. Is this all solely to give the new trades playing time in Syracuse or is something else brewing as far as trades?

I don't think Maroon has played in over 3 weeks, so he'll probably report to Syracuse right away. Maybe they need room to activate Chipchurra?

kinda surprised about this. I guess "Don't fix it if it ain't broken" isn't how Murray and RC roll.

This is a bit surprising. I thought the organization liked Green? He has played well for the most part. We've been trying to figure out our bottom six for a while now and I thought Green fit in nicely.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Beleskey head back to Anaheim. Both he and Green play Left Wing.

Green was fine on the fourth line, him Parros and Carter were doing reasonably well I thought. I guess we're going to see the bottom 6 completely revamped now that people are coming back from injury.

I have a feeling it's more along the lines of: "If it's working....break it" with those 2.

Well three losses, even with 2 in overtime, seems broken enough to me.

JMO, but I would rather have waived Chipchura than Green.

I think this is a case of having a full stable of young guys rather than Green not playing well enough.

But I think we could actually get something for him instead of just waiving him.

I don't think Carlyle and Murray even know what they want from the 3rd and 4th lines.

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and guess they are trying to decide who is simply most likely to make it through waivers without being lost. But there's obviously too many D on the team and they need to figure out who is healthy enough to keep so they can ship a few out and stop destroying the bottom 6

More than 1 goal and 3 assists in 23 games? I hope Lupul gets back soon to give more scoring depth, or the season will end early..

Did Green clear waivers?

I though he was on a 2 way contract, couldn't he just have been sent down?

Waivers are influenced by experience. If a player has played pro hockey long enough, he has to clear waivers to be sent to the minors.

Two-way contracts have nothing to do with waivers. The contract only means that if he does make it to the minors, he gets paid a smaller salary than he would if he was at the NHL level.

I believe we find out tomorrow. Weekends dont count as a day, so today was officially his day on the waiver wire, along with Carter.

What does this guy do exactly? He doesn't score points and he doesn't really play physical so to me it's no big loss.
