Brett Carson

Can anyone tell me something about him, is he worth considering with one of our 2nd round picks?

Personally I like him better than Schultz, but that's just my opinion.

Doesn't he remind you of Kevin Hatcher? He even looks like Hatcher a bit

Mmm, maybe. He's another one i want to see use his size more. I dont think he is as polished as schultz

but i think he could be a better player in time.

I'd like either one of them if they had just a hint of the aggression that i saw from Valabik or Stephenson.

Schultz vs Carson vs Rodgers

How would you rank them and where would you pick them?

Personally I'd take Rodgers though I think he is the most raw of the three.

Schultz is probably the best overall and Carson might be splitting the difference.

Schultz and Carson aren't bad defensemen per say, just so long as you know what you're getting. They are positional defenseman, and not bangers. Anyone hoping to find some hidden aggression streak and turn them into monsters is going to be disappointed, simple as that.

How would you compare them in terms of skating and hockey sense/decision making?

Right now? Probably Schultz, Rodgers and Carson in that order.
