let's just play some hockey tonight. the last few games haven't been played nearly the same as when the flyers were on that 9-0-1 run or w/e it was. i love the emotion, but they need to direct it at playing hard. hopefully bob comes back strong now that he's rested a bit.
Usually after a chiipy game the rematch is a dud as far as fireworks. He stepped up against cooke. I do hope Richards goes after him beats the tar out of him. He does need to fight him or make an attempt after his comments. Only downside is if Richards loses, oh boy. Will be interesting to see if any of the other players take a run at him.

i highly doubt anyone takes a run at him after richards' comments, but i do believe richards will offer to drop the gloves. i would much rather see giroux undress him with some dangletastic wizardry.

Nah, not an issue at all. I mean they are the most disciplined team in hockey. How thee rushkie plays over the next month is going to be interesting. Does he elevate his play or does he come back down to earth and struggle a little?

I hate your team but I love the rivalry and bad blood developing between our 2 squads. I'd wish you a good game but I'd be insincere if I did. I hope we beat the crap out of you. All the same, I'm amped about a Monday night game at the beginning of the season. That says something about the quality of the rivalry between the two teams.

Fact is that in Montreal, losing to the Flyers in the playoffs is much much more a part of the consciousness for a variety of reasons. Subban and the Habs are a losing bunch, because their fans like it like that.
