Hey everyone, have any of you read/know of any quality books on ice goalie theory or technique? Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Eh... don't mean to hijack the thread, but I didn't really know where else to put this... I'm looking for a goalie book that gets into the "head" of the goalie, sort of in the style of Ken Dryden's The Game. Sort of a biography, but more a biography of playing the position... do you know what I mean? If you've read The Game you kind of know what I mean... Would something like Brodeur's book be like that, or Roy's? Or would they be more like a true biography? Any suggestions??

Again, sorry to hijack the thread haha.

I really liked the From The Crease magazine series. I think you can still backorder it. Best combination of technical explanations and drills I've seen yet.

Hmmm... Well, I'm not really looking for technical stuff, more the mental game. Found the Plante book in the library, will pick it up in the next few days.

For general hockey mental building, try Hockey Tough by Saul Miller.

As for technique, try any book by Francois Allaire. Beware it will tend to favor the 'Quebec' butterfly/blocking style of play.
