Kerrigan is not a 4-3 end, nor is he a "lower-tier" player. He's a multiple technique LB/DE with the best character and ethic at the position in the draft.

Look, Cam Jordan was out there, who is a proven 3-4 commodity. Obviously the coaches thought about this issue, and they selected Kerrigan. Huge motor, great character, low risk, smart pick. You can certainly say that you would have preferred this guy or that guy, but if you aren't satisfied with this pick, you don't understand football.
