What do you guys play Skyrim on? I'm considering getting it, but I've heard it was absolutely awful on the PS3.

Not a huge elder scrolls fan though, played oblivion and couldn't even get halfway through it.

Any of you guys played Dark Souls? ****ing hell that game is frustrating.

I have PS3. The latest patch seems to have fixed almost all the issues. I still leave autosave off and save manually just to be safe though.

Edit: This game blows Obivion away, IMO. Much more user friendly.

That's what I heard, I don't think I will get it now, any money I have at the moment is going towards the Diablo 3 Collcetors Edition Might wait the price to drop down even more

The skills setup I've seen for Diablo 3 seems so watered down. It upsets me.

Not really a bad thing.. There's no reason to pretend you're giving the player hundreds of choices when really he could only go 4 or 5 ways.

Blizzard knows what they are doing, they have put a lot of time and effort into this game, even though they redesign what seemed to us an obvious thing to keep.

360 personally. I also couldn't get into Oblivion at all, but Skyrim is really one of the best games I've ever played, along with Red Dead Redemption (excluding sports games)

I got MLB2k12 the other day. Is anyone else not thrilled with this game? I've played a handful of games and the only hits I have gotten are 4 solo HRs, a double, and a single. Everything else has been a pop fly to the outfield. I don't know if I just suck or if the game sucks, but it is not very fun to be one-hit multiple times by bad teams. In the last game I played I put the sliders up all the 100 to see if that would change anything and it didn't. Got one-hit by Annibal Sanchez and the Marlins (pinch hit-double in the 9th inning was the only base-runner). 28 batters, 1 hit, 1 strikeout, 26 pop flies with the sliders all the way at 100. I feel like the real life Phillies before today's game.

As a defenseman almost 100 percent of the time in EASHL, nothing is better than getting a defenseman who matches your playstyle..

I joined a team with a friend.. Me and him together have limited the last 5 teams we played to a total of 21 shots

I do the same thing. When I'm not sucking and have a partner who doesn't think he's a forward it can be a whole lot of fun.

I just realized that not only is Max Payne 3 coming to the consoles next week, but I have to wait 2 extra weeks for the PC version. But I don't feel so bad mainly because I can see how the game turns out on the consoles before pre-ordering on the PC.

it's hard as hell, I actually really enjoyed last years game but really am thankful I rented this over buying it. If you have PS3, The Show is much better.

I love when your teammate makes a beeline to the goalie position and then lets in 4 goals on 4 shots, none of which were breakaways.

For as much as EA was bragging about their trade system, it's still pretty bad..

Just traded Ilya Kovalchuk, Henrik Tallinder, and some scrub in their system for Milan Lucic, David Krejci, Patrice Bergeron, and Nathan Horton

Diablo 3! One good thing about Flyers being out early, is no tough decision between playing D3 and watching hockey.

Yeah I'll probably be buying that tonight. I was going to wait until the price came down but that likely isn't an option.

Max Payne 3 looks like it's getting great reviews. I think I should pre-order it on Steam now . I can wait on D3 because there were no pre-order bonus.

Was reading about it on Reddit.. Technically they can not do anything.. They are in bankruptcy, which means refunds can only happen after all of the debtors are repaid.. Which wont happen for awhile

NHL 13 gameplay innovations and brand-new connected experiences include:

· True Performance Skating: A ground up overhaul of how skating is handled in the NHL series bringing unprecedented reality to video game skating

· EA SPORTS Hockey I.Q.: Smarter computer controlled players who read and react to the entire ice not just what’s right in front of them. You are also able to customize the behavior of your players and team

· GM Connected: The ultimate fantasy hockey league allowing you to play with friends across the world and deepens the experience of Be a GM NHL’s most popular offline game mode allowing players to manage, play or coach while building their team’s legacy.

· NHL Moments Live: Rewrite or relive history as you play through the most thrilling moments from the today’s NHL.

· Refined on-ice presentation: We bring the most authentic looking NHL hockey experience to-date

· Even more improvements to core offline and online modes including Hockey Ultimate Team, Be a Pro, EA SPORTS Hockey League and more
Quote:
In Be A Pro you now have greater control over your career, including the ability to request a trade away from your team or decide to hang-up your skates and retire when your virtual knees begin to grow stiff. EASHL, the EA SPORTS online hockey league has received a number of new improvements including the ability to choose club captains, a region based matchmaking system designed to reduce lag and the addition of procedures created to encourage users to play through a full EASHL game.
http://www.easports.com/nhl/news/art...3-announcement

Quote:
- True Performance Skating: A game-changing innovation for the franchise that adds physics-driven skating and over 1000 new animations. True Performance Skating authentically replicates the explosiveness, momentum and top end speed displayed by today’s NHL players. True Performance Skating combined with the Skill Stick, finally gives gamers access to the entire toolset of an NHL player, delivering unprecedented control and unlocking a level of creativity never before possible in a hockey videogame.

- EA SPORTS Hockey I.Q.: An innovative new A.I. system that governs the behaviors of players, goalies and team systems. In previous NHL games, players were only aware of skaters in their immediate proximity and goalies could only react to the player in control of the puck. With EA SPORTS Hockey I.Q., all players are now fully aware of every other player on the ice, resulting in quicker, smarter and more true-to-life decision-making. EA SPORTS Hockey IQ also delivers the deepest and most customizable set of real-world hockey systems and strategies ever for the franchise.
Quote:
- GM Connected: The ultimate fantasy league with friends. GM Connected takes the franchise’s most popular offline mode, Be a GM, and allows you to play with and against your friends in your own 30-team NHL. Whether you are a hardcore sports gamer or a hockey fan that moonlights as an armchair general manager, the mode offers unrivaled accessibility and depth by allowing players to manage, play or coach on the road to building your team’s legacy. GM’s can also take their experience with them with a mobile companion app, ensuring that they never miss a single moment.*

- NHL Moments Live: Rewrite or relive history as you replay some of the most thrilling moments from today’s NHL. NHL 13 evolves the concept introduced by other sports games, introducing each scenario with real-world NHL footage to bring players closer to the intensity of the moment. Moments from the 2011-12 NHL season will ship on disc and new moments from the 2012-13 NHL season will be added as and when available throughout the season.
Quote:
- Team-First Presentation, which customizes your NHL 13 experience based on your favorite NHL team

- The addition of Customizable EA SPORTS Hockey IQ allowing players to create and record their own player and team strategies to a level never before seen in the franchise.

- Improvements to core offline and online modes, including Hockey Ultimate Team, Be a Pro, EA SPORTS Hockey League, a refined on-ice presentation, and more.

Goalies
NHL®13 now features the most athletic goalies ever seen in a video game. In the first period or with the game on the line, your favorite netminders scramble with more versatility and anticipate like never before.

GM Connected sounds awesome and Moments Live sounds like the feature they introduced in FIFA a few years ago.
