No, considering our team does look like a bunch of retards trying to hump a doorknob of late.

If nothing else now we have three guys on our team that want to shoot. Clutterbuck, Cullen, and O'Sullivan.(Im not counting Madden for obvious reasons) Can't be too bad to add another shooter, and for his first game playing with new linemates he looked pretty good. Lets not forget that in Carolina he was getting 8 minutes a game and playing on the fourth line between Troy Brodie and some other clown enforcer.

Good move.

Now we just need to get Voloshenko and Foy into back into the organization.

So I guess I have some food for thought regarding Voloshenko.
Why not try to give this kid another chance? An organization with such offensive ineptitude, what do we have to lose. I understand the kid has made some poor choices in the past: drug problems and fleeing to Russia(?).
If we can coerce him to come back, with many stipulations. Why not?

I think it's too late. He has been playing in second tier leagues for the past few years. He had work ethic/substance problems. And, he had little to no foot speed. He was a guy that scored around the net. Yes, the Wild need scoring but they need speed. A guy that hasn't played in the KHL/AHL or another Elite league the past few years isn't going to help us. If anything, he would take minutes from someone else that deserves it...plus, he may not be the best role model for youngsters...

While we're at it, why don't we get AJ Thelen? He was awesome seven years ago. And Kirby Law, and Erik Westrum.

Just let these guys go, they weren't good five years ago and they aren't going to be good now.

I didn't know he was slow. I wasn't suggesting we go bring back all the failed busts. It just seemed Voloshenko regressed because of a bad influence which led to drug problems.

Yeah, I know what you're saying but I think there is a reason none of these guys have been picked up by anyone else either. When you let go of a high draft pick like this, there's usually a reason, and I think for Voloshenko, it was just a lack of work ethic and motivation in general. It doesn't sound like he had the desire or attitude to play in the NHL.

Kyle Wilson 2.0? Maybe someday, but not going to be either of those guys.

There's got to be a lot more to Patrick O'Sullivan than we know. How does a guy go from the press box of the Carolina Hurricanes to the top line of the Minnesota Wild in a day?

There is something very strange about this guy.
