USA (Jack Campbell) vs CANADA (Ryan Ellis) funny

Saw this on TSN, found it funny.

Shows that enemies on the ice can be friends off it.

This is a ripoff from Getzlaf and Ryan at the Las Vegas Awards show.

Would have been way funnier if Ellis went on Campbell's facebook and changed his status to something like, go canada!!!

Didnt TSN do the Getzlaf/Ryan one anyways? So technically their just doing it for something different lol. Still pretty funny though.

Good stuff, but not as epic as Getzlaf/Ryan. For some reason, in both cases, the winners seem to be the better actors (Getz/Campbell), while the losers, well, should stick to their day job (Ryan/Ellis).

You can tell this video was made by Canadians.

"Gold...stolen from them on their home ice by the US."

No credit to the USA for their solid play. No credit for withstanding a hard-fought Canadian comeback in the last few minutes of regulation that saw Canada tie it. No recognition for the fact that in two games on Canadian soil Canada needed a shoot-out to win one of them and then lost the other one in overtime. No mention of the fact that in those two games a combined 137 minutes of hockey were played and Canada led for about 13 of them. No hint of recognition of the fact that maybe, just maybe, the USA was the better team.

Just "USA stole Canada's gold."

Does anyone have a link to the Ryan/Getzlaf one?

I'd love to see Kane and Toews do something like this.

And I can tell you're a yank, because you're in here crying about something Canada did, instead of doing something for yourself. You know, you have your own sports networks in the states - Where is the ESPN version?

You should be thankful that somebody - Anybody - is covering this stuff at all. Because if we had to rely on your countrymen for opinions, we'd have nothing at all to discuss.

You have to be ****ing kidding me?

It's a ****ing comedy skit, not something to be taken serious...sheesh.

If you watch the Ryan and Getzlaf skit, it's gives you the impression that the only way Canada can win is by cheating......oh well, it's still a funny skit.

TSN, finished it off good with the Cdn Christmas thing, makes the yank look a little more ignorant. We will see who has the next laugh in less than three weeks.

Because TSN isn't a Canadian broadcasting channel or anything, right?

First, whenever a favoured team loses on home ice, it's always viewed as somewhat of a "steal".

Second, the Canadians had won five (5) straight gold medals. You'd have to think they were favoured.

Third, that same network has U.S. favoured to repeat as the champions this year in Buffalo. Clearly there's an overwhelming bias against Americans.

At around 2 minutes in the video Toews foreshadows his goal in the gold medal game with amazing prescience.

I just noticed Jack Campbell's Stars hat.

As others have mentioned- good for Ellis for doing this-good natured teasing. But yeah, the Getz/Ryan one was hilarious.
