Seriously, Carle is SO plain for his cap hit. Gustafsson looks more exciting than him.

That surgery he had is a *****. I had it in April and all I did for 2 weeks was stretch, sleep, eat percocet, watch movies, repeat.

Granted - I'm no pro athlete and I am a good bit older than Leighton - but I took a slapshot in the garage yesterday and let's just say I won't be doing that again soon...

Surprise, Surprise. Could it be that it is connected to the fact that he had numbness in his leg?

I was just about to quote that from the article on the 19th:

"still having some numbness in his leg" according to what Chuck Gormley wrote.

if im translating this homerspeak correctly, it actually means that all of leighton's toes have fallen off.

Holmgren had numbness in his head when he gave him that dumb contract but it is what it is....thankfully everything else is working out and Bob has bailed him out but to be fair the team so far is assembled well. The numbness in Leighton's leg is not good in my book and given his style I'm not so sure he'll fully recover. He's is going to have his good stretches and bad stretches if he is lucky...

outside of the two deflections he put in his own net( pretty much nothing he can do about them, Pronger had 4 last year) Mez was absolutly stellar tonight, and has been from game 1. The flyers easily have the best bottom pairing in the league at the moment. Come play-off time, it could be huge with a competant goaltender

I had a similar situation tonight with a song bugging me. That song was Blister in the Sun by The Violent Femmes. Not sure if that's the same you had. Don't remember any other songs being played tonight, except for Enter Sandman at the start of the 3rd.

I like Mez, but that just pisses me off that's all.

Does anyone else think Mez could become our 1 or 2 defensmen once Pronger and Kimmo are gone?

As a last resort, you can contact the team and see if someone in the game operations/arena management department can assist: (651) 602-6000. Likely closed tomorrow.

I'm going to watch the game On Demand when I get a chance and replay when I heard it, and I think I'll be able to figure it out from there. Thanks for the suggestions though.
