Game 22 - Vancouver Canucks vs. San Jose Sharks - 7:00PM PST - TSN

WHEN: 7:00PM PST
WHERE: Rogers Arena, Vancouver, B.C.
TV: TSN
RADIO: TEAM 1040AM

Vancouver Canucks Starting Lineup:
D. Sedin - H. Sedin - Burrows
Raymond - Kesler - Tambellini
Torres - Malhotra - Samuelsson
Glass - Perreault - Hansen

Edler - Ehrhoff
Bieksa - Hamhuis
Ballard - Alberts

Luongo

San Jose Sharks Starting Lineup:

Game Notes:
- Henrik Sedin is two points away from 600 in a Vancouver uniform. He would be only the fourth Canuck(Stan Smyl, Trevor Linden, Markus Naslund) to accomplish this feat.

More to come.

It's gonna be a really awkward ceremony when Daniel has to watch Henrik get his jersey retired...

Maybe just retire number 23 or 32 for a combo of both of them? Daniel is only 27 points away from 600, so he should hit that marker this year too. Barring injury, Henrik will also become just the fourth player to appear in 800 games for Vancouver this season.

This could be the start of this team performing up to expectations or it could be another 'one step forwards then one step back' type game where we undo all the positive things that happened during the Colorado game. Sharks have had some pretty inconsistent goaltending thus far and definitely don't have the deepest defense in the league, but their big forwards always seem to give us a lot of trouble.

Yes, but the team is pretty set as it is now, people on the right places and not for the first game either. I go for a Canuck victory, the difference will be that our defence is stronger than theirs.

I predict 4-6 Canucks:
D. Sedin*2; Burrows; Kesler; Samuelsson; Ehrhoff.
Marleau; Thornton; Heatley*2

I know SJ has a habit of bending us over, but I think the Canucks will come out ready for a big game tonight. Hopefully they use the Avs gave as a springboard to some more success.

I have a feeling Malhotra will pot one against his former team.

Whoever it is be thankful....I hate when we play the Sharks because I have to listen to that halftard Drew Remenda. Ugh.

NHL Center Ice in the U.S. is donkey scrot...no high definition for games between Canadian teams, NEVER any high def Canadian feeds (Sportsnet, CBC or TSN) and always have to listen to the worst color guys in sports.

Hello, I'm going to the game tonight. I'm from coquitlam and I was going to sky train, but I dont feel like dealing with the weather, the mobs of people, and bringing a jacket to my seat.

I was wondering what the parking situation is like. Do the lots around Rogers Arena fill up? If so what time do you have to be there to get a spot?

Any help would be appreciated, thnx.

I want to see the Canucks come out and dictate the pace and tone of the game. If they sit back and let San Jose come at them, the game is over before it starts. The Canucks have somthing to prove against the Sharks, so I would hope they'll come out and play an inspired game.

Take the skytrain, trust me on that, it's a mess to find parking, it's 35 bucks and it's ridiculous

We usually have success parking at the VCC parking lot just down the street. You usually end up having to park on the roof, but it's reasonably priced.

EDIT: But honestly, I'd reccomend the Skytrain. It's a mad house getting in and out of the area before/after a Canucks game.

Drive to some other station, park, and SkyTrain a few to the stadium.

It is Friday and a game day so...
Live Canucks chat Friday, Nov. 26, at 2 p.m.

Jonathan's back this afternoon to talk Nucks ahead of tonight's game against San Jose. We're hoping Tony Gallagher and (a very busy) Ben Kuzma will be on hand.

Having taken the skytrain from coquitlam many times I would definitely suggest that over driving down. Weather isn't that bad today, it will only take you 30 min on the train which will be faster than driving when you account for finding cheap parking. Event parking is now 35 or 40$ so you would have to get there around 6 just to get some reasonably cheaper parking which would be a few blocks away and so you would still be stuck having your jacket in tow.

If you don't mind walking 5 blocks or so, park here (EasyPark; regular non-event rate). I hope I don't regret blowing the spot since right now it's pretty much always empty. Also it's far enough that it makes leaving downtown fairly easy (via hastings or cordova).

Gonna guess Cuthbert and Ferraro.. they did the game in Edmonton last night plus Cuthbert will be doing the Grey Cup in Edmonton on Sunday so he'll be hanging around here.
