That right there was the very definition of too little too late. Lots of fight in the third, but I guess we just sucked too bad for the other 40 minutes.

Just go. Clearly you like the NYR enough to be here and enough to get tickets for your birthday. Show some support and go, you might just enjoy yourself.

Step now has 13 points.

edit- wait a minute, Malone knocks Lundqvist over to get the puck under his pads? Am I the only one who sees that or am I just imaging things?

Step's goal was nice. That's how it's done... Shoot the ****ing puck with traffic in front, good things happen.

I wanna go i love the rangers and bleed ranger blue but honestly if this is the game i see for my bday and for them to get smacked around and made out to look like a pee wee hockey team then id rather just get the money for the tickets and be happy with money. being at a game like this and wasting my money would basically ruin my bday

Besides the fact that they just looked terrible tonight (Tampa is a great team that should not be underestimated)... I really think this team needs to be a lot more disciplined, this is a very tough team, but toughness should not equal penalties. They could not get anything going in the 1st or 2nd period with all those penalties when they have a weak PK without Drury. It also doesn't help when players from both teams topple over Henrik trying to take the puck away from each other.

if we can take at least one positive from this game...its Stepan keeping his point streak going. That's the way you shoot on net on a 5 on 3 with traffic converging to the front of the net.

No, you aren't the only one who saw it. It should have never been a goal. Malone should have been in the box.

Too many here though would disregard the nonsense Tampa got away to gain the lead because they'd rather bash their own team. No doubt Tampa was the better team through the first 40, BUT an evenly called game and there's no way it's 5-0.

Positives from tonight-

Stepan continues to look good

We scored on a 5-3 pp

Hank seemed to battle as the team picked up its game a bit

Christensen can now be sent to Hartford for his own safety for not keeping his head up

I didn't watch the game, but at least they didn't lay down and die in the third.

Games like these are expected once in awhile. I'd expect Biron to get the next start.

Positives from tonight-

If you have ranger tickets for when they play the lightning on sun dec 5th, definatly sell them now and get your moneys worth rather than seeing them get spanked again like tonight. Il take as much money as i can for these tickets, offer away. Id rather not ruin my birthday and see them get smacked around like little *****es and can live with money for my bday

I liked how Avery bothered to stand up for Christ, even though the hit was a clean one, but still...
