Hopefully he keeps it up and makes it back up to the big team!

I liked Pacioretty a lot. And from this it seems like he has a great attitude. I hope to see him back with the Habs too.

That's what he needed last year and he didn't get. Fortunately, Martin (who admitted to be behind this decision) wasn't dumb enough to make the same mistake twice.

Everybody knew that he wasn't ready last year but Martin wanted to punish Sergei Kostitsyn. That's why Pacioretty stayed. It would've been good for him to stay in Hamilton last year and work with Guy Boucher.

No trade demand either? Where are the role models?

Or they felt they were too small up front and wanted both Lats and Patches in the line up to help offset that.

Would be great if he kept it up. He could be used as a trade piece at the trade deadline to acquire a big time player.

Why? He's a big strong kid who has some offensive ability, why do we want to give this up?

I know but if an opportunity comes along to acquire a big time forward or defenceman we have a piece to trade which we didn't have last year with him.

Depends who it is obviously. I hope not an old timer if it does happen.

He's always had a great shot, I still vividly remember his NHL first against NJ where he went top cheese, it was a laser. He just needs confidence, glad to see he's getting it!

Deadline deal players are generally UFA's that test the market. It would be nice, sure, but if Patches actually continues developing well, he could be that Power forward left winger we as a collective fan-base has been whining for since G-d knows when.

I rather keep him.

Enough with trading our young forwards away. Lets developed them properly and let them play with the big club.

Pac's one of our few good high picks. We better not give up on him.

As an aside, Cunneyworth's not doing that bad a job down there.

Depending on who gets injured I might like to see White called up first.

I am still pretty much certain he'd be skating on that Gomez line already if he'd kept his mouth shut.

Nonetheless, good to see him doing well.

If we need a top six player with some grit, he's clearly the guy. If we need a bottom six guy (when healthy) that's Ryan White.

I'm so happy for him, I'd prefer we keep him in the AHL for the season so he can become a consistent goal scorer. Our prospects are looking good.

That line would be just fantastic. They would compliment each other so well. Could happen this year, very possible next year.
