And the Hawks are good? Quite a few of the fans on their board would beg to differ.

I'm with everyone that our current losing streak is frustrating but I haven't a doubt that it will get better and much so in fact in short so I am guess I just not as critical about it. Sure I absolutely hate TM's coaching style when it comes to player management (I give you Peter Harrold playing as a forward *ever* as an example) and think that he locks in on his system and isn't willing to adapt to changing circumstances leaving his players confused and frustrated.

But I have seen worse coaches with less to work with win championships and since I see us as still being a season away (two players that need to develop into their roles and four imo that need the additional experience) from being a legitimate contender for the cup so I expect us to have our struggles along the way. Even great teams have their struggles.

So when I read all of the angry posts I absolutely get it but and think that there are tons of valid points in them but I can't help hearing/thinking/seeing Brick Tamland in my head saying "LOUD NOISES" from that anchorman movie when they are all yelling at each other.

So, I guess what I'm saying is "LOUD NOISES".

Leave it at that.

then I would ask Hawk fans this:

1) was the Kings 12-3-0 record a bit over their talent level?

2) is the current Hawks .500 record indicative of their talent level?

If I were a Hawks' fan, I wouldn't be stressing too much about Saturday Night...

I don't understand how the Kings went with Doughty/Martinez and Drewiske/Greene. Any normal person would assume one stay at home guy with one puck mover.

Brings energy and grit.. TM just plays the 4th line too often and at the wrong time(Ex: In the 3rd periods). Therefore, resulting in goals..

Well in Clifford case, he can't go back down, he goes to juniors not to the ahl.

I have this also many guys play different in a structured game, see ersberg, and if morris matches his line akin to murray we could have diamondsdressed up like coal and we will never know......piskula and bagnall were examples in my mind, piskula looked decent in his 5 games after he signed and bags we will never know because while jones was a turnover machine,I know different type d-men,bags only chance came in camp......charlie simmer was a career Ahl'er until they called him up and gave him extended time with dionne and taylor and that turned out sorta ok hey

Should be an interesting game tonight. Hopefully things will settle down now that we are back home.

But Mitchell has been injury prone the past two season now so it is worrisome.

This team's lack of a #1 LW was covered up by the fact that, when healthy or close to it, this team is beastly defensively. Now that the best defensive d-man is out, along with maybe the best PK forward, the glaring hole at LW is more pronounced.

I love this team when healthy but this "depth" everyone is raving about is not that great, at least not at the present when it comes to skilled forwards.

If I'm Dean, I'm looking for a competent LW and I'm dangling a 2011 1st and a myriad of different prospects for said player.

People can laugh all they want, but losing Parse is huge as Deano bet the house on him for that top LW spot.

Also, let us not forget that the Stoll line is made up of guys who never seem to stay healthy for 82 games.

Like I said, when both goalies aren't doing well. We need to change up the schedule.
