I don't hate Murray, I just don't think he's done a good job, and that he needs to go.

The funny thing is for everyone complaining about the Heatly trade is most people, including myself and Fuhr, really wanted Michalek. For some reason though he hasnt clicked with any of our players and doesnt really have dynamic speed since coming back from his last knee injury. Perhaps he is still rehabing it and might get back to where he once was but that does change the fact he has no chemistry with anyone on our team it seems.

Regardless of what people thought, the league hasn't overruled a trade during this CBA to my knowledge.

Michalek is done, hes had surgery on both of his kness and he kills any momentum his linemates try to create.

I don't think MM will ever get back to the days he had dynamic breakaway speed. The player in this video looks nothing like the player we've seen in Ottawa.

Not sure about that. We've seen glimpses of that every now and then.

Maybe he's not fully healed, or maybe the system Clouston has has doesn't allow him to do that. Maybe his knees are shot.

We don't know for sure.

I'd wager his knees are shot, he'll still be able to play but his acceleration and top gear won't be what they used to be. That video is filled with Michalek overtaking guys and driving outside and around them. The last time I remember Michalek semi-doing that is when he injured his ACL going into the post last March. Michalek doesn't possess paralyzing one on one moves, if you take away his speed he looks like a pretty unremarkable player.

He's done it this season.

I can recall him doing it against Montreal.

He just doesn't do it enough. Makes me think it's the system

Four knee surgeries at 25 years of age does not auger well. I think it's pretty obvious from those old highlights this guy had another gear he doesn't posses anymore.

I think your right about the Michalek injuries but dont give up hope. Crosby was a gear slower for about a year after his high ankle sprain, but recently seems to be about as quick as he was before it.

And yea Murray has been one of the worst 10 GMs over the past 3 years or so. The sens got gutted of skill so extremely badly... downgrading slowly until you look at the roster and wonder what happened?

The difference is, Crosby didn't need surgery. Michalek has already had 4 major knee surgeries. There's a big difference there.

Its the GM and coachs fault that no one decided to show up except a very select few. I am so ****ing tired of this team and its inconsistency BLOW IT UP. That was pathetic couldnt even make a 4 foot pass the only goal was two incredibly lucky bounces. This core is not doing it start over.

I'd rather wait out the entire season and make a shake up trade without giving up picks or prospects.

I think you have to wait until after the season is over and do it right. Take your time finding a new GM and allow him to bring in his men (including a new coach).

It's everyone, the GM, the Coach, the Players.

Personally, I think CC is the least the blame. He hasn't been perfect, but there's no way he's lead them to be THIS bad. We should be in the mix 4th-8th if they play the way he wants them too.

BMurr has built the team we see today, and he needs to be accountable for that. I don't care if his contract is up at years end, we need to start making the right changes now to best use our giant cap space this off-season, and to get some good young hard working players in here, Bryan Murray, IS NOT the guy to do that.

The Players need to take a good, long look in the mirror and see if they want to be here, and want to work hard for this team to win. If not GTFO. They give up way to easily, and are becoming coach killers.

If only CC is fired, and there's no trades, and BMurr is still here. This organization is a joke. How long until they quit on the next coach?

I think it's the team, don't really see what exactly Clouston can do to get this team focused. This core is absolutely pathetic and embarrassing to say I cheer for these useless bums.
