Tatranski Vlci had a lot of penalties in game with EJHL and cca 4 goals were after touching puck in front of goalie by his own player (I hope it is understandable). EJHL player were faster than ours. Webhokej24 had interview with goalie Holly, so I have some info. It should be also at mhl site.
are you sure?
If next will be like:
RA - EJHL 1
Vlci - Riga 1X
so Red Army will be in final. RA and EJHL will have 6 points, Riga and Vlci 3.
rules says this (answer for my Q about situation I described upper): тот кто выйграл в личной встрече. если будет три команды то тот кто выйграл во встрече + разница по шайбам и все тако
I think I understand it, but could anybody translate?
Thursday is free day, players are going to city at 14:00 local time.
I really don't believe Riga will lose to Vlci... Then again, I was sure Riga would beat the EJHL team so you never know....
Red Army can beat Americans... i saw their game vs Riga. Their goalie is very good and team can be very good in power play but overall I'd say Red Army should dominate the game... they will only need to score their chances.
A big factor why HK Riga didn't win the game vs EJHL was Gudlevskis bad luck in the net and wasting our chances. We really should've won that one...
If RA wins by 3 goals, then they have a better +/- and earn a berth in the finals. If they lose or win by 1 goal, then EJHL qualify, 'cause they have a win in the direct game vs Riga or have better goal difference. If RA wins by 2 goals, then all 3 teams are tied in points (6) and +/- (0), so the number of goals is the next deciding factor. Even if the EJHL won't score a single goal today (if they do, then the following argument is redundant), they still have 4 (4+0), Riga has 4 (2+2), and Red Army will have 2 (0+2). Now only two teams are tied (Riga & EJHL), and the Americans qualify, because they won their direct game against us.
Ofc, if Riga loses to Vlci or wins in OT/SO, then the winner of the second match-up will make it (the Army need a regulation win either way).

it was nice game. Red Army shot 7 goals in power play... I like Sergeevīs game in PP. Btw who won fights? I saw that Fefelov lost, but did not see another couple.

Fefelov-lost decisively
Ozhiganov-draw/narrow loss
Is there a highlight video from Tatra Wolves and HK Riga game available anywhere on internet? I know the score, but unfortunetly missed the game and can't find a video.
If I understood correctly from the closing ceremony, IIHF are about to approve the tourney, while Omsk is up for another go next year.
Brashkin is a real discovery for me. Played 3 very solid games. Making a case for WJC?
little BIO on brashkin - for the most part of his career he was considered the most talented 92 born goalie. Then in last 3 years - he has falledn off the map - wether he got the star-sickness, or Togliati situation has affected him, he hasn't impressed in Kazan' and had to win the job in the red army on a try-out.
Overall impression of a really well executed tournament. You can see that the organizers did a professional, world-class job. Albeit, not without the help of the sponsors. That cup looks gorgeous, competitive, if not better than the WJC cup.
Seeing 9000+ Russian fans, Rossiya 2 channel and the media coverage of the Russian Junior hockey - I didn't think I would see that anytime soon in my life. Looking forward to some real competition next year. But for now, Just awesome.
CHL (Q) team joining tourney next summer? Any info from Hockey Canada/CHL?
