Another game bites the dust... Onto the next. Don't hang yourselves yet, plenty of hockey ahead of us...

Free Fall...

...but its a long season. I still have faith.

The goaltending has still been solid...just the offense has disappeared.

I thought the Kings played well. The Hawks are still a very good team. Much better than their even record.

Another embarrassing effort.

This slump is bad enough but it's the lack of intensity that bothers me. Everyone just seems to be going through the motions.

This team is still in trouble and needs an enema. No light at the end of a very long tunnel.

Murray makes stupid coaching decisions. When you need to win a faceoff, you put out Stoll. You don't let Kopitar take it. This has bitten our team before, and he doesn't learn.

And Doughty was awful. He is scared to shoot, and when he does, he launches it over the net. He's thinking too much and it's bad.

Everyone pretty much played like crap except for Scuderi and Quick.

Played well? Only 20 shots. Most low percentage. Defensive zone breakdowns. Turnovers galore.

King's offensive game lately has become forecheck, throw weak shot from 40 feet towards the net, wish for bounce or bad rebound.

... I just don't know where lady luck ran off to - she broke up with the Kings for sure.

I felt like the Kings busted their ***es tonight. They played with fire. They were defensively responsible. Quick was fantastic. The Kings directed 50 shots at the Hawks' net, the Hawks directed 46 at the Kings' net. The Kings' shots just kept hitting a skate, the rebounds kept going to areas occupied by Hawks or away from where Kings' players were. The difference in the game was a goal that was batted in off of a hand.

I just don't get it. How could this all go so wrong? Where was the fans' support? What in the hell's going on? My mind's playing tricks on me.

The Kings are young, they are not the Red Wings or any other Veteran team. They played like this at the end of last season. Young players are streaky, and we are seeing this.

I think Kopi and the Core will be much more consistent in about two more years.

The offense hasn't ever been there to begin with, not with the personnel, not with Terry Murray's system.
