Holy crap, Beuk, Langdon, Stock and Cloutier. That is intimidation right there. And I hated Czerkowski so much. Good stuff right there.

I love Kenny Albert, "And now Cloutier challenges the Islanders bench."

And Spezza + Gaborik/Heatley.

Traded the 2nd overall (Spezza) + Chara + something else for Yashin.

Picked DP over Gabs/Heater.

My favorite GM of all time. No matter what stupidity comes out of his mouth when I watch him on TV, you can't wipe the smile off my face.

Basically Olie Jokinen, Luongo and I'll call it Heatley for D.P., Mark Parrish and Oleg Kvasha(?).

They wouldn't be able to ice this team because of the cap but:

Dumont-Spezza-Heatley
Jokinen-Conolly-Bertuzzi

Chara-McCabe
Brewer-Berard (gave him away before the eye injury)
Luongo

He gave Palffy away because of money. Gave Bertuzzi away before his prime, imagine Spezza, Heatley, Bertuzzi during his prime.

Awards:
I remember watching that game on TV with my father--an Islanders fan. When the game was other, we were both happy--his team won, my team kicked ass.

I also remember thinking Danny Cloutier had a chance to be a special goalie.
