That's what I gather... Unless it's benign.

Damnnn I wonder what's going on with Calvillo...hopefully it's nothing dire but it sounds pretty serious.

should I make a video of his interview?

I think that was/seemed pretty serious like many said.

Would be great. Just be carefull with the title. Don't make it too Harsh since it's a very important/emotional announcement.

I just want to say this. My wife had thyroid cancer. She had her entire thyroid removed. There's 2 things about this:

1 - This is one of the most treatable cancer ever. There are some chemio and radio to do, you remove what needs to be removed, and it doesn't come back. You do need to be checked out though from time to time.

2- What's important is to find the perfect SYNTHROID dose once the surgery is done. It might take 1 month or 2 but at one point, you find it. Until you do, it could be tough playing a sport like football 'cause without a functional thyroid or pills that play that role, there are a whole lot of problems related to this. So you need to find the perfect dose. But you find it eventually. If they do the surgery right away, it should be no problem whatsoever.

So IF that's cancer, the prognostic is great.

Thank you very much WhiteSnake for sharing this with us. It is good to know than Calvillo will most likely be fine, from a human POV, regardless of what he decides about football.

No problem. People don't know how important the thyroid is to us. You have a lot of respect for it once you go through something like we did. It's 1 pill per day for life for my wife. 'Cause without it, you just can't function properly.

Yeah thyroid cancer is definitely one of the most treatable cancers. Top 3 or top 4 depending on the source.

I have someone in my family that thought the world of Pat Burns. She`s in early stages , but people with the problem can always use a role model & what Calvillo just did is good for life.
