I got an offer for Moseley on my team from a Canada 1.1 team. Stratford, offered me Hooper. If someone could look and give an opinion, appreciated. I'm flying back to Jersey from work travel and won't be able to look at the trade in depth before tonight. Player looked decent, but I think moseley may be better

Trophy Manager is also down, so it might not be Nik's fault.

Don't be silly. My electricity went out during that storm the other day and I'm convinced it was Nik's fault. Everything is somehow correlated to Nik's imcompetence as a human. I even sharted once and went on the forum to find a thread started by Nik about how he was working tirelessly to clean up the mess only to see him respond in his own thread about how he was calling it a night 15 minutes later.

Haha, I let out an audible laugh when I read that, too.

"I am now going to go and think about something else for the first time today"

If one of my two sources of income was in a state of turmoil I would not do anything but work on it until it was fixed.

The combination of his 'laissez-faire' attitude towards work ethic and the fact that he won't hire any other coders will be the death of TH (if this current problem isn't already).

That guy is solid. I just didn't want to spend more than 500k on a guy who is going to play, at most, 6 games.

I signed 2 really good, partially bloomed, young goalies in FA and was planning to let one of them be my backup, but I feel like I have a legit chance at being a number 1 or 2 seed in 3.2 and didn't want my backup going 3-5 to be the reason that I wasn't.

I am actually finding that I may have alot of cap space to start the season, anyway, even before Nik does his wage update, so 650K for a 76-78 EPA goalie at 99/99 seems like a shrewd deal. I just wish his routine was better.

Btw, the site is back up. I suggest going to make sure your FA bids weren't pushed back another week and all your players weren't renamed with weird symbols and given higher wages than what you signed them for.

The first guy is going to be my #2 and is a 72 EPA and will top out at 73-74. With a low avg his price will stay down for a long time.

The 2nd guy is is my project. He's 18 avg points below his trv right now. If he gets to his try he will be a 76 EPA. Even if he gets to 72 I'll be happy to have him as trade bait.

The 3rd guy is my destined 3rd stringer and with a low avg and 68-69 EPA I'll keep him in that roll.

In all I have 3 decent backups with stats in the right spot and the 3 of them combine for $365k total.

I see your goalies and give you my 3rd string. Making $94,145 right now. 64 EPA, 75 TRV, 56 AVG. He earned 19 TI in his first training session with my team.

That's just standard procedure for me now.

I know I harp on this but it's almost unbelievable that he'd risk his source of income by not making a copy of the game and using that as a test database before running new pieces of code. What a ****ing idiot. He's still fairly far from getting everything sorted out and the solutions that he's been implementing have only been partially successful. He said something about manually going through and editing what needed to be fixed and, if so, that's going to take him well over a day to do. There is a ****load of teams.

I also loved how he blamed everything on data structures rather than his own amateur mistakes. Though I am sure that the database he uses isn't optimal at all.

My guy Engle is a 63 EPA at a 49 avg and 67 trv. He will top out around 1-2 EPA less than your guy with an avg 9 lower which means his salary will be much much less. Your guy tops out around 79 EPA which isn't all that great if he's a 75 avg making 4-5 million a year.

Westfield will top out at EPA 93 once his routine gets high enough. His average will stop at 81 or maybe 82.

It's going to suck paying him. I'll actually need to promote in the next two seasons or he'll be over my max player budget.

So..... I should start rooting for Ltrain so that I can sign Westfield in free agency?

I win:

http://trophyhockey.org/player.php?id=771686

72 EPA at 57 AVG

I would assume he would be high 70's-low 80's EPA if he reaches his TRV of 68 (which I don't see why not considering he is 20).

His reflexes may also reach 99 if I am lucky. In his last training session (while he was still in free agency) was 22 TI.

Hence the nickname.

3.2 is a joke compared to 3.1, though. I will be surprised if I don't promote this year, let alone within the next two.

Nik should solve this problem by manually moving me over to 3.2.

Haha, that would be pretty interesting, actually.

You may regret asking for that once my re-tooling is done, though.

Edit. Btw, I think Nik has a personal vendetta against you man. Your dman, Brown: http://trophyhockey.org/player.php?id=358766 makes 5.5M, with 1.5 stars and a 83 EPA at 99/99. My dman, Augustine: http://trophyhockey.org/player.php?id=320869 makes 4M, with 3 stars and a 82 EPA at 99/99.

Augustine also, imo, has better stats (defensive stats+stamina) and has 11 trophies (including 4 straight Norris' in 4.5) in the past 4 seasons compared with Brown's 1.

That **** is just plain unfair for you, imo.

Yeah, well, just wait til Nik runs the wage update and I actually have cap room.

This whole FA thing is beginning to piss me off... lots of good players I can't touch because of Niks ****-ups right now.

Sure wish I could do anything. But my team is completely screwed since the reset the other day. I can't do anything.

When trading opens up, can someone help me out by trading for my backup goalie? That's the only way I'll get under the cap now.

Well, I would probably cut a centerman and offer him 5M as a starting bid (and probably go up to 6M). Now, I wouldn't actually do that because we are Hfboards brothers, but just sayin', if I'd be willing to do that then I am sure there are idiots out there willing to do even more.
