Went to modells, dicks, jc Penney, and none of them had nyr jerseys on clearance. Sports Authority did not have any at all. Argh.

Just a question on sizing...

For the upcoming season I'm going to grab a Callahan home authentic. I'm about 5'9 with a slim build, around 145-150 lbs. What would be the better size for me to get. I tend to wear things a bit tighter and everything else I own is either S or M. So, with these authentic EDGE jerseys, anyone have an idea of which size I should order?

5'9 and 150, get a Medium. Jerseys are bigger than shirts.

I used to be heavier than I am now, and I wore triple XL shirts, but I wore a 2 XL jersey. I lost weight and now i wear double XL shirts and an XL jersey. Heck I'm even starting to fit into some of my old XL shirts, so I could be down to a Large in a few pounds. But basically, a jersey size is bigger than your t-shirt size. A Medium should be good for you.

Did I miss something? Edge authentics don't come in S or M. Perhaps a size 48 would be the best fit...50 if you like it a little loose.

There's no such thing as a size 48 in Edge Authentics. It's a dead giveaway that you're buying a fake. Reebok Edge Authentic jerseys come in 46 and 50; no 48 exists.

Right, 46, 50, 52, 54, 56, 60...or something like that. Guess he needs to choose between a 46 that sounds like it might be a little snug...or a 50 that would likely be a bit loose. I'd probably suggest the 50.

I've got a pretty good athletic build and I'm 5'10 175lb and easily fit into a 46, though I wouldn't wear a hoodie under it (though I wouldn't want to anyhow). I routinely wear sweaters and long sleeved shirts under it though and it's not too snug on me. I have to imagine I have a much broader chest and shoulders than the poster who said he's only ~150.

Im 6 foot and about 180lbs and the size 50 fits me a little loose, mostly in the sleaves. If you can go try on an authentic jersey at a local store before ordering. That is what I did (had to wear an Ovi jersey )

Question about Pro-Jerseys...

I see they have no White Anisimov on there but there is a "jersey request" area..does it cost more since its kind of like they have to customize one for you?

I actually can't decide between Stepan or Anisimov

Nope. I made a couple of requests and they said they could do them no problem. Sent me an invoice. No extra charge.

Some hats are marked down but others seem to be only a couple bucks. Mostly discontinued models.

The drawback too it the charge tax through their ebay account due to having stores in most states.

I wanted a black/gray with neon green raised logo NYR hat they had at one time and with tax + S/H it came out to $2 less then when they were selling it on the rack. So I said "F" them.

Can't wait until the Winter Classic jersey's come out. I'm gonna get one, not sure between Lundqvist, Stepan or Staal.

If it ends up looking like it does in that preview picture that came out, I'm definitely getting one.

I already have home Avery and away Lundqvist. If I get the WC it will be Callahan, Gaborik or Richards.

Let me preface this by saying I know nothing about hockey jerseys or what the difference between authentic and premier is and this is probably a stupid question but... is this a good deal?

http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...7061943&type=1

I was thinking about getting either Anisimov or Callahan with a C. Any help is appreciated. (And if that was a dumb question, feel free to tell me that haha)

Then it's not a Beukeboom game worn.

You may be confusing the term "game worn" with "pro authentic"

Game worn implys, worn by the player in an actual game, a pro authentic is a retail jersey. Beukeboom never wore a size 50 not even in Edmonton as a rookie. I have seen his Cape Breton Oilers jersey for sale before and it was an XXL which is what the minor league team wore back then. A size 50 is equivalent to a Large or Medium depending on the year/manufacturer. So as you can see a 50 is no where close to a Beuk game worn being he wore a XXL before he even came to the NHL.

Is the jersey a Rangers or Oilers?

And if it's a Brock Beukeboom jersey it would be a Soo Greyhounds jersey and they are Edge style size 56 for Brock's game worn.

Not trying to give you a hard time, just giving my experience based opinion and trying to save anyone from ponying up big money on something it is not if you decided to sell it here.
