Could you PM me where you got that from? I am looking for a place selling the heritage jersey with all the trimmings, like the patch, retired #'s etc.

Picked up my Stepan jersey last night at MSG. Easily my favorite jersey out of all of the one's I've owned.

I actually don't think that Lundqvist looks all that bad.

If that particular seller had more players to choose from, I might consult.

this is the message he sent me about what players he has.

I'm trying to decide between gabby, or staal....that lundqvist looks good though so i may just go with that.

Do you know/think that all of his thirds have the retired numbers and patch? Also you mentioned in a PM he was a pain what was his deal?

Easy.

The W in 'New' is completely different from the official one.

The Lundqvist is in the wrong typeface/color and is not curved, its straight.

The off-white stroke around the 30 is too thin and even worse the 30 itself is not centered under the name.

If the lettering/numbering on the back was done correctly it would be hard to notice it as fake, but that gives it away.

I recommend to order a fake BLANK, and have a place like projerseys do the stitching.

Yeah, pretty obvious it's a cheap knockoff.

The lettering is completely off alignment on the front, and the border is too thin. The number on the back is too high*, and again, the border is too thin. The name lettering isn't arched and is way too close to the number.

I could live without the arch, if the white border on the New York, and the number were thicker, and it was all properly aligned.

Just my 2 cents, but I've paid around $40 each for two Chinese jerseys; one Gaborik Rangers home jersey and one Sean Taylor Redskins football jersey.

Both jerseys looked pretty solid at first glance, but over time I noticed enough mismatched details compared to the legit jerseys that they really started to bug me. I think there's a real "you get what you pay for" when it comes to jerseys and I like the peace of mind I got from finally shelling out for a Premier Rangers third jersey, knowing that all of the little details were going to be correct.

In retrospect, I wish I had never spent the $80 on fake jerseys because I'd much rather have just spent the $130 on a legit Premiere in the first place and had one nice jersey instead of one nice one and two fakes that I'm too embarrassed to wear in public. NHL.com has been having nice sales during the holidays, especially the free customization deal on Black Friday which was something like a $70 savings. If you're the sort of person like me who might get hung up on small details, I'd advise you to just save up some money and wait for a sale on a legit jersey.

This. I hate fake jerseys but if you want to buy them, I'm not gonna hold it against you. I'd just rather save up the money and try to find a deal for a Premier where I know everything's going to be correct. Also, I love buying the player shirts for 20 bucks. Rather by 2 of those then a fake to be completely honest.

Yeah, I don't get why people would rather have 5 piece of crap made in china knockoffs as opposed to 1 really nice authentic sweater they can be proud to wear. But to each his own.

i'm assuming the newyorkrangers.com shop is essentially the same as shop.nhl.com?

if anything just make your way down to the city and pick one up at msg or at the nhl store on 6th ave.
