Man, if we weren't on an internal cap this offseason I would've LOVED to send Neal an offer sheet... Probably wouldn't have gotten him, but worst case scenario we push the envelope for Dallas to make a move... He certainly a player I'd give a 1st and a 3rd for...

So that means they're 2-10-1 when giving up the first goal.

I think both of those wins came against the Wild, too.
wow, that is NOT a good thing for this team

We're being far too fancy in the neutral zone. Trying to deke around players instead of passing it to the open man.

Man this Neal Erikson Richards line is pretty dynamic. Not to mention their 2nd line is Benn Ribiero Morrow... Not too many teams with a better top 6, certainly not the Canes at least... There's really not a weak cog in there, can't say that about many other top 6's...

Erikson is way too good to be giving him a chance like that. Dallas' forecheck is really pinning our D.

There's no open man, though, as the Stars have cut him off after the customary 12 d-to-d passes.

But Corvo holds Ovechkin to only two points a game. He is a true shutdown stud.

What is it with weak first periods lately? I don't want to question the team's motivation, but something isn't right when they aren't getting off to better starts.

Man, whatever happened to the Jamie McBain we all fell in love with last year? I wasn't expecting him to win the Norris or anything but he has been disappointing this season to say the least.

This seems like a game where we play well enough to win against 75% of the teams in the league, but they style of play the other team runs will beat us.

Well, I'm hoping we suddenly start playing much better in the 2nd and 3rd or that 75% is far too high.

Brind'Amour's kid commented on the Facebook Canes post. After clicking on his profile then checking his friends list, I have FOUND Rod's ACTUAL Facebook page. Not the fan page, HIS page!!!

Of course, I'm not going to friend him, so this info is useless. Anton Brind'Anton, I DOUBLE DOG DARE YOU to friend request him.

At least we look like complete **** on national TV, what an embarrassing game... We can sneak up on the rest of the NHL now, they won't know what hit them
