Fav Bruin moment/how I became a fan: I was at the game where Stan Jonathan destroyed Pierre Bouchard, fourth game of the 78 Finals, it was actually the greatest game I've ever seen and not because of that fight - it was the game Schmautzie scored under a sprawling Larry Robinson, beating Dryden to win it in OT. I grew up on the south shore playing youth hockey, played in H.S. too, and followed the Bs, NHL, as well as local college hockey.
How long I have been a B's fan: I know this is a very bandwagonish time to be registering, but I've been lurking on these boards for a few years now and have been a Bruins fan for much longer. We've had season tickets in my family since the mid-70s. I'm old enough to have seen the Cup, in person, carried on Garden Ice. Unfortunately, on both occasions it was being held by Yvan Cournoyer! Maybe this is the year! (But I've learned to keep my hopes in check... even when we're up 2-0 on the Flyers...especially then.)

Fav Beer: Depends on the season. Right now I have been drinking a lot of Magic Hat Circus Boy.
Fav Bruin moment/how I became a fan: How I became a fan? Growing up watching them. I do not remember a time when I didn't watch hockey or didn't love the Bs. I can tell you my favorite moment though.
In all my time as a fan I never made it to a Boston Bruins game until this year and it just so happened to be the Habs game in early February where we kicked their ***** up and down the ice. It was an amazing time.

Hey guys, completely new to HF.
I'm the only person out of my group of friends who even pays attention to American sports, mainly because I am born and raised in Liverpool, England . I started in 2003, I was pretty big on Wrestling and my favourite guy was John Cena. I thought it was awesome when he walked down to the ring in a Sox jersey or a Celtics jersey, and I picked up on the fact that he was from West Newbury, Massachusetts, so I started following the Red Sox and then the Patriots. After a while I started watching more hockey and basketball, and thought that it was better to stay faithful to Boston sports, so then I added the Bruins and Celtics. I don't consider myself a bandwagoner whatsoever - at the time in '03, the Bruins and Celtics were barely relevant, and obviously it was a pretty crappy time to be a Sox fan too. I also know quite a lot about each of the sports, and it pains me to see people in my school magically becoming Packers fans Fortunately there's around 3 other lads in my school who follow the NHL - one Penguins fan, one 'Nucks fan and one Rangers fan, so I'm not completely isolated. That's all, great to be here.

Fav Bruin moment/how I became a fan: Park OT winner, 2011 Game 5 double OT vs. Montreal (was there) & .... Me and my son (7 yrs old and at his first game @ NJ) front row behind Bruins bench & 1st seat next to tunnel ... before game Shawn Thornton goes to get sticks (right next to our seat) and picks up 3 of them. He asks my son to pick one .. my son thought it was for my him to keep - but Thornton said it was for him to play with BUT if he scores he will give him the stick. (Last year Thornton had 1 goal all season) ... Sure enough he scores his first of this season ... in between periods he goes into locker room gets stick & comes back and autographs it for him! AWESOME!!!
