Upon deep and thorough examination I nominate this logo to be one of the most beautiful logos in BUSINESS (not just sports) history.

That is ****ing gorgeous. Who comes up with this stuff!

Not supossed to be any particular animal. Just a generic wild animal. A hybrid of four or five found in Minnesota, I think.

Wild Logo....

Looks like a Forest, a view of the wild... upon further examination...

IT'S A FREAKING BEAR HEAD. Shooting star is the eye, the Sun is the ear, the river is it's mouth and form's it's teeth.

I must admit I only discovered this 2 years ago and was pleasantly surprised.

Well I originally thought the logo was a hurricane (it really does look like it without looking at it in a big picture), so I thought "thrasher" was just a way to describe the hurricane because it thrashes everything in its way.

Since this is now a thread for embarrassing NHL related confessions, I reveal that I noticed the first h in Thrashers only a couple of weeks ago. Wasn't exactly sure what "trashers" supposedly were, I guess some kind of destroyers putting their opponents in the trash. Well turns out they mean more or less the same (apart from a thrasher also being a bird). Booo such a lame anticlimax!!

I never knew the Wild's logo was a bear, but I thought the Thrashers were pretty obvious...

Are you guys sure the Wild's logo isn't some kind of cat? I think I might email them and ask.
