I will admit, I exaggerated a bit for effect. Yes Doughty is being very closely watched out there. That's obvious. This doesn't really account for his powerplay performance though... part of that is the system, but the guy just doesn't have the confidence with the puck, and I don't feel like he had even before the concussion.

He doesn't look 100%, but whether that is the PCS or conditioning we just don't know.

Agreed on all accounts. The changes should be good, hopefully.

A little discipline, for what it's worth:

Quote:
There was quite a bit of talk on the ice in practice today. It started after about 20 minutes, when Terry Murray stopped a drill and, somewhat uncharacteristically, lectured the team in a raised voice, expressing displeasure about the way a drill was being executed. Then, after drills ended, the players skated to a corner of the ice and met. Matt Greene called the meeting, but all players were invited to talk and share thoughts about the Kings’ recent slump. Afterward, I talked to Greene, Rob Scuderi and Murray about the on-ice chatter.

Can we please get Schenn back into the line-up...please please please. Come on Zeiler! Really?

I wonder how things would have turned out for Schenn if he had scored on any of those about six prime scoring chances he had early in the year.

Thank you! How the Kings can have Schenn just sitting the pressbox, its just maddening knowing that, he needs to be out there.

I don't think Schenn will be in the pressbox much longer. When does the WJC tournament start?

The camp is starting soon....Schenn wasn't invited to it. The actually WJC doesn't start till the day after Christmas....so I have no idea if he is going and if he is, when he would report....but it seems he is here for atleast another week or two....and as the team continues to struggle to score we bring up Zeiler and keep Schenn in the pressbox.
