Letang deserves it, not Geno.

Yeah, I didn't like it when Montreal stuffed the ballot boxes for Mike Komisarek. Letang is definitely deserving though.

Malkin doesn't deserve to be noted as an All Star. He's playing far below his capability for a calendar year.

Letang, on the other hand, deserves to be there. Dude is playing out of his mind.

This.

As big a fan I am of seeing Pens get recognition and accolades, I dislike it when players get recognized when their season doesn't justify it.

At this point (anything can happen from now until the All-Star teams are finalized), Malkin isn't having an all-star season. Letang, however, certainly is.

Im one of Malkin's biggest fans and I won't vote for him right now. Letang I already have. But Geno, nope. He flat out doesn't deserve it right now.

I have a beef with Kieth & Pronger leading the D-man. Neither should be tops & far as I'm concerned the list starts at Lidstrom.

Lidstrom
Letang
Big Buff

Those are the only D-men I have really thought of as All Star caliber this season.

Not that anyone cares, but my votes were:

Forward:
Crosby
Stamkos
B. Richards

Defense:
Letang
Bi-fooglien

Goalie:
Price

Ovie, Semin, or the Sedin twins might be better options than Richards, but the dude's keeping pace with them and is sort of my underdog pick. On D, Lidstrom probably deserves the nod, but the two surprises are having monster years, and in nets I picked Price simply because as good as Thomas has been, I think Price has been more valuable to his team.

I've been voting a few times a day for Crosby and Tanger. Would be great to see Letang in the game he's playing ridiculous.

I'm down.

Does Malkin deserve to be an All-Star at this very moment? No. Can he turn it around before the game? I think he can. Would I rather see him there instead of Toews? Absolutely.

That's pretty much what I had. Just insert Eriksson and switch Thomas with Price.

And to be clear, I didn't vote for Byfuglien because of his defensive prowess. I'd just like to see him in the all star game and he certainly deserves it as much as Mike Green this year.

Philadelphians are by far the worst ballot box stuffers. They do it for baseball, too.

I've been voting for Letang here and there. He definitely deserves it.

Same. I'll vote Letang, but not Geno. I wont even vote for Fleury for that start he had.

Montrealers are much worse than Philadelphians. They're not quite as angry, but they're much more crazy.

I agree about hockey, but the Philly fans have a track record in baseball as well. What a bunch of jock sniffers.

The all-star game is ******** and players would benefit more from 3 days of rest.

So I'm not voting and I encourage Pens fans to either not vote or vote for other teams' players.

Even if the players don't try very hard during the game (why would they), it is still an honor to be nominated as an all star. I much rather have my players go to the game than not.

If Malkin can't even produce at a point per game pace he shouldn't be in the All-Star game. Staal, Stamkos, Backstrom are all playing better and more deserving.

I'll vote for Malkin, Fleury, and Martin just because they're Penguins. But I'll only do it once. If Geno doesn't make it, he only has himself to blame. Letang and Crosby are constantly getting my votes because of they way they are playing.

i know sid has been voted into every all star game since he has come into the league, but has he actually played in it yet? it seems like he always has an injury and misses it.

Crosby has played in every all star game since his soffmore year. I forget if he was there his rookie year....but he does not do much, he does not care about some all star game so he does not put a lot of effort into the game. But it's the 1 time a year he gets to play with actual wingers for a change, and not just any wingers...elite wingers! I'd like to see if Stamkos can play wing next to Crosby and see if they can tear it up to form some chemistry for the Olympics.
