What would it take to get Kulemin? or Grabo.

Grabo probably cheaper to acquire right?

Really? Kessel, Kadri, Phaneuf, Kulemin, Schenn? Don't want any of them? Lol.

I would assume so. Kulemin would take a solid package to acquire. I honestly don't think the Thrashers have the right pieces to acquire Kuelmin, unless they want to trade Cormier+.

Grabovski's value is hard to gauge. He's having a solid offensive season so far, and is one of the Leafs few legitimate top-6 forwards. Maybe something around Peverley.

Well, yeah of course Kessel. I would love to have him but he's pretty much untouchable after what they gave up for him.

Any idea who is in the dog house right now for Wilson/Burke?

Anything specific the Leafs are looking for?

burmistrov and a 1st? he is untouchable but if we were to move him to the thrashers that would be what we'd probably want.

Could see it being gunnarson... he played 15+ minutes tonight, been averaging just about 8 a game. Maybe setting something up with him.

Versteeg would also be an upgrade on Stewart.

Would Toronto do a straight swap Versteeg for Stewart?

Stewart has never proven anything at the NHL level. Also, Burke just acquired Versteeg, and he has been pretty good (14 pts in 22 games). So no.

I'd be weary of making any deal with Rick Dudley. He's one of the best talent evaluators in the game and has a nose for plucking out talent away from other teams. It's kind of ironic that I'm saying that.

Sjstrom to Atl - ATL gm said he wanted to see the player play. No reason to bench Mitchell and play Orr so little. Burke just traded for Brown so he stays

Sjstrom to ATL for a pick maybe a 4th - The only other thing I can see is maybe Bozak?

Antropov/Little for Bozak? ATL fans?

Bozak for either Antropov or Little?

Not sure I'd do either.

Don't want Sjstrom either. We have too many bottom 6 guys. I don't believe he is even an upgrade over Modin, who doesn't even play.

I would like to grab Little if possible.

Bozak+ a prospect for him? Not sure if it suits Atlanta's needs at all...

Why would Atlanta do this?

It doesn't really help us at all. Bozak's a downgrade, a good enough 2/3line tweener but we have that in Peverley and have like six guys, seven who can play center.
Moving Little or Antropov wouldn't do anything for us, both are popular in the locker room and bring it on the ice.

and it's really a lateral move that helps the Leafs more than the Thrashers, since we're dealing from a position of strength for a position of weakness, while you're dealing from a position of relative weakness for a position you already are fine at.

Grabo's not the most valuable piece, but given the Leaf's current situation, unless he's being traded for an upgrade at center, or a top line powerforward, he's untouchable. And realistically, he's not getting traded for either.

If the Thrasher's don't need defense, there isn't much of a deal to be made.

Maybe if you guys need some wingers for a center?

Let me preface this by saying that I used to be a TML fan, that was until they hired Burke, then my allegiance went out the window. I actually really respect what Dudley has done for the Thrashers, so I'm going to propose that I believe could benefit ATL.

To Toronto: F Angelo Esposito(could probably use a change of scenery, don't see him having a future with the Thrashers.
5th round pick '11

To Atlanta: Tyler Bozak(Could center the third/fourth line at the expense of a player that may never suit up for the big club and a late round pick.

Bozak is a roster player, Esposito is not. No deal.

I was watching tsn or sportsnet and they were talking about ATL, about what a great turn-around they've made and the only real problem area is the defensive play of the defenseman. If that is an area of concern that Dudley doesn't think can be addressed internally, it makes sense to me.

Another tidbit, and I don't know how true it is, but someone posted on the leaf trade thread that they have Dale Mitchell on their facebook, and he posted today "good luck to my freinds Bozak, Crabb and Foster".

Take it for whatever it is, 3rd hand poop maybe, but Crabb was unexpectedly brought up today. Would go along with what Dudley said.

I personally think it would be Komisarek. Not too familiar with ATL's team though. Can someone put up the general line up so I get an idea of who plays where. thnx.
