Yawn...Flyers played brain dead as Lavy would say. Not much emotion.....Thomas was awesome but they could have played with more urgency.

You have to give Thomas credit... he is something right now.

I think the team played well but Thomas was awesome. Sometimes you just have to tip your hat to the goalie. The Bruins didn't do all that much but he was definitely super hot.

I've pretty much had it with Zherdev and the offensive blueline turnovers, it's gotten ****ing ridiculously out of control.

Anyways, I can see the doom and gloom crowd coming, so I will try to head them off.

Calgary - Should have won if not for the most egregious decision this side of Crosby's slewfoot.

NJD - Hedberg freaking stood on his head.

BOS - Thomas was better than Hedberg and had a 4 leaf clover up his ass to boot.

I'd be much more worried if we were playing like crap, sure some things need adjusting, particularly the d-zone mistakes, but this is not a crisis.

Not much to say about this one except Thomas is owning us.

He's overrated....and now you have him for 11 years. I don't care about the whole he's playing wing and adjusting. If Briere had to take the heat for a few years then Carter deserves it as well especially when he floats out there.

If you watch a little more carefully you'll see that he is hitting a lot more and also driving to the net.

Another thing I've noticed is Hartnell isn't falling down nearly as much as he used to, penalty shot excluded, of course.

Why when we're useless with the extra man do you pull Bob with 2 and a half left. That had fail written all over it.

Not enough shots on goal in the 3rd to make a difference either.

Dominate first 2 periods with posts and head standing goaltending thwarting the effort. The 3rd period effort was very disappointing though. This team is good when they get to the middle of the ice and they didnt do that at all in the 3rd

The Bruins also did an excellent job on the PK, at limiting chances, at blocking shots, and back-checking. We got outplayed defensively and in net.

BTW, I am most definitely in favor of the new lines, especially Carter moving back to C.

I mean, Giroux has 1 ES point in his last 8 games, so something there wasn't working.

I'm sick of the stupid fancy shmancy stuff he keeps doing. I will give him credit for hitting a bit more but considering he was signed for his offence, he has more brain cramps on the offensive side than on defence, it seems.

Yeah they had a couple HUGE blocks in the 3rd period.

Also, let's not forget we hit a couple posts in this game.

Suddenly the Thomas for Gagne rumors sound pretty nice.

(note: I don't think Thomas' current level of ridiculosity is sustainable...so this post needs a heavy dose of )

Agreed on all accounts. Especially Zherdev. I think he needs to be shipped out

Turnovers, Bruins goals, great Thomas saves, weak shots, shots wide, more turnovers, and passes to somebody completely covered and not ready to take the pass.

amazing
