He'll probably get brought up right before or during the playoffs due to injuries.

Don't see the need to do so...

Let him develop in the AHL... then we'll see if he'll actually become a Top 6 forward... which I still doubt.

I like what I see so far, but he's still missing the net way too much for my liking.

We have three options:

1) Bring him up a few weeks before the trade deadline to see if he'll meet our needs. If he doesn't then we have time to trade for a top 6 forward.

2) Bring him up for the playoffs. Make no trade for a top 6.

3) Make a trade for a top 6. Let Max develop in the "A" for the whole year.

I'm leaning towards the first option.

Right now he has a trading value because hes 'burning' the AHL.
If we bring him back, and it doesn't work out, we screw up his confidence and a possible (low of course) return for him.

i still want a legit proven top6 winger, but every team look for em

He's starting to become a complete player in the AHL. Getting important defensive minutes in addition to scoring. BUT he's not there yet. Unless he can play and contribute as a top 6 why not let him develop into one for next year or maybe even the end of this year?

Keep him in the minors for the year. Trade for a legit top 6 forward. If he comes up, underperforms and JM has him on the 4th line or in the pressbox like Weber, you risk destroying him for good.

Good news. Way to go, Patches.
Eller should be there.

Yes, that is the reason he needs a bit more time on the farm. He will be brought for one reason or another before the end of the year - injuries or Gauthier makes the decision (correctly) that this team simply isn't good enough as it is now to make a long playoff run. Hopefully, he will be brought up with enough time before the playoffs to properly evaluate what his best role will be. And I am also hoping that his ****-disturbing friend (White) is also elevated when he fully recovers from his injury.

Let's trade him for this kid called Max Pacioretty, I heard he's got the perfect size/skill ratio for our team and I wonder for how much the asking price is for this young stud. He's arguably NHL ready and is tering up the AHL, it's worth a shot.

Leclair---Eller--? hmmmm...

The only way I would do this is if Kaberle signed long term. Remember our #1 wrecked his knee again and who knows when he will be back, plus he is UFA so he might not be back at all.....

I think he has a shot to pull a Subban this year. Dominate all year and then get called up when your confidence is beaming at the end of the season to help the Habs in the playoffs.

does he play with any more fire than he used to? The only major thing i ever had against him was that he seemed very passive physically, intimidated. Not soft, per se, but also not as physical as we'd like from him.

if Markov is out for the season the organisation will have to make a choice, trade for a top6 forward or a D-men.

Pacioretty will make a difference in this decision. If they think he can jump in the big club and produce they will call him in the end of the season like they did with Subban and trade for a D-men...Kaberle. If they think he need a complete year in the AHL they will try to get a top6 forward via trade IMO

I like these two option
