The Devils game is a great example of a game this team should win. Need to beat the teams you should beat.
Yep. No game is a gimme and the Devils will try to get up for the rivalry, and are desperate (and due) for some wins so anything can happen, but you've gotta get your points against the teams you should beat.
I will be very upset if we lose to the Devils. We have actually looked like a real hockey club this season and the Devils have looked like they would get owned if they were playing in the A. Seriously. If anyone has watched a lot of Devils games this year you know what I'm talking about. They're not just bad...they're baaaaaaaaaaaad. No camaraderie on the ice, terrible defense, Marty "I'm going to let in the worst possible goals at the worst possible times" goaltending. Total confusion everywhere on the ice with this team. Langenbrunner is trash. Marty is old and below average. Elias looks done. Rolston is in albany now (drats!), Clarkson is awfullllllllllllllll (stay away Sean, just stay away), Kovy is a one trick pony, and their defense might be one of the worst I've ever seen.
The Devils have an underachieving group of forwards and a defense that not only does nothing to contribute offensively, but are absolutely terrible defenders.
They've gotten waxed their last two games by the Isles and Leafs. WAXED. Completely non-competitive.
If we play the style we have played all season long there is no reason we should lose this game.
Lundqvist better knock this weak goal **** off, because that's the only way I see New Jersey beating us.
