After thinking about this looks like a half ass all in go for it. Picking up Carrick and Carnevale are good but the biggest problem I see lies with the D and goalie. I'm not worried about Kassian and his group scoring 6 a game I'm worried about Ellis and co. keep the puck away from Campbell. From what I've read most don't like MacIntyre, Ebert is very good but young and how will he adjust to a long season, not sure of Posa either. Robertson looks like the shutdown guy. Webermin is in and out. Biggest problem is Campbell I see right. Maybe he steps up his game in the playoffs but right now would be a good time to start showing why he's a top 10 pick in the NHL draft.

It's great WR and co. are making a run at a third Memorial Cup which I'm ready to watch hopefully it can happen.

I honestly am not worried about Campbell. I think he will do great down the stretch. It is just this defense that is to scary.

Posters are saying our D is as good as any in the Western Conference. Not a chance. Saginaw's defense blows ours out of the water. Erie, Windsor, Kitchener and Owen Sound you could say are about the same.

With MacIntyre on the ice the Spits will hurt. badly.... Posa has improved but is nothing to rave about. As you point out Ebert is only 16 and there are hardly ever to many 16 year olds that will be dominate in the playoffs. Webermin will never play. That leaves it down to Ellis, Roberston and Duininck.

Ellis will have his 35-40 minutes. Roberston we have still never seen play. Duininck is only in his second year and has had speed bumps along the way.

When or if the Spitfires are knocked out of the playoffs then it will be because our D was never upgraded. Not because of Jack Campbell.

Think your d pairings are a bit off. Pretty sure Duininck will be paired with Robertson as the shutdown pair.

I wouldn't go raving about Saginaw's defense. Yes they went out and got Prout, but can he really handle the speed of our forwards? He proved last year he couldn't. Their defense is rather slow and will start to crumble under a fast forecheck.

Not saying ours is any better or any worse. Our top 9 are equal to any team in the league right now. 2 scoring lines and a shutdown/checking line.

I will take our coaching over anyone in the league. We may be critical of Jones at times...but with him and DJ behind the bench, there isn't much these guys haven't seen. They should have the team ready to go by playoffs. They know the pressure the team is under to perform, and they think they will respond in kind.

Saginaw and OS are new to this "favourite" tag. Remember us in 07/08? We were the favourites against Sarnia and couldn't handle the pressure. Same thing will happen to one of these teams in the 1st round (and my money is on OS).
