Believe he's lost a step due to knee issues.

Had bad knees. They've been fixed...maybe. This is the last season on his current contract. This could be good for LA...maybe.

apparently Antropov got faster after his knee was re-constructed... but Sturm is older so, we'll see

True but I'd rather have him than Schenn or Parse or Moller or King or whoever else is down in Manchester. The guy had great wheels before all these injuries and a solid 2 way player. Let's see what he has left.

Draft picks most likely. Not a big deal.

Sturm is still a great player. He lead our team in goals last year, and is consistently fantastic on the PK. I think he'll really help you guys out.

Judging by the fact that this solves our cap issues, Id say this a solid trade for both our teams.

Sturm is UFA at end of this season. $3.5M cap hit. He is 2-3 weeks away from playing. Thrilled to land in LA. Waived his NTC to go there.

It's nice that he waived it. LA is still desirable, WOO.

2-3 weeks? Ugh. Wish it was a littler sooner, but at least we'll be getting Strum/Poni/Mitchell all at once.

Happy to hear he's thrilled to be a King.

About time. If we need another scorer at the deadline we will get it but this should solve one hole for the rest of this season.

Hammond should be on the details, but there is nothing on his site. Don't quite get that.
