Nice pass by Neal and finish through a screen by Ott.
What is it about Minnesota that suddenly makes Niskanen think he's playing with Zubov again?

That's Steve Ott. He's in Burns' and Theo's grill all night than snipes one of his 20 for the year. You can't place a price tag on what it means to mentally disrupt their best defenseman and goalie for the rest of the night. Good on ya Otter.

Robidas and Grossman have to clear Koivu and Mitts out of the crease on that one.
Come on our hard and wear them down in the 3rd Stars, get an insurance goal!

I rescind my criticism of Neal's puck battle fail and place it on Eriksson. He's kinda not mentally there tonight, it seems, though the same could be said for about half of them.

If the refs had called as tight as they had all night on the late interference hit, then Clutterbucks's not out there to score.
But meh. The bigger problem was that Niskanen defends no one and Lehtonen gives up a bad rebound to result in a tied game.

Tickets sales almost always rebound the season after improvement, not during the turnaround year. So much of attendance is a season-ticket base that will not improve during the year.
Also, the economy still blows so businesses are not buying lower-bowl, high-dollar tickets. And many people are still under the mistaken impression that some of the ticket money goes to Hicks, and people loathe Hicks.

Nice to see the grinders continue to give us the edge. Good to see them rewarded.

I like how Loui is laughing as he bleeds from his lip.

How about Loui/Wandell/Sutherby as the 4th line? Could get used to that.
