I would scratch Nystrom or Staubitz but apparently Richards said that 'we need them' since we're facing Ott...

I would have scratched Staubitz or Nystrom and it's not even close.

Todd Richards firing level: 60 ---> 65%.

Fletcher is a big "character" guy so i think it would be hard for him to scratch guys like Staubitz, Nystrom, and Madden. Especially when the leadership on the top end is lacking lately. or at least the example set by said leadership is less than ideal. If Koivu was playing all fired up then I think Staubitz would have been scratched.

I can understand Staubitz, the guy hammers people but with clutterbuck there too. That's enough. I agree with Nystrom or madden should have been scratched instead.

Steve Ott is the least of their problems tonight. How about scoring some goals?

I can't believe we are scratching one of our better players since hes been here for a guy who has done nothing his entire time here.

Rynryn you are, we've lost count what his plus/minus is but its double digits and that is awful. Nice ******* reward for Sully playing well and being the only guy who can score in a shootout. Thanks Richards you idiot.

There's also Burish but Richards has no idea who anyone else is on that team.

enough with the drama! Other people are laughing at us for going ga-ga for POS. He isn't that good. He has speed and can get an accurate shot off if he has space, but give me a break.

Nobody is saying that he's a superstar, but he brings speed and skill to a lineup that doesn't have much of either, so scratching him seems pretty stupid considering he has played pretty well so far.

God I hate Richards so much right now.

O'Sullivan through 6 games with us:
1 Goal
2 Assists
+1
15 SOG

Kobasew in 11 games this season:
1 Goal
0 Assists
-7
14 SOG

But Steve Ott is a big enough threat to make it worth playing Nystom and Staubitz over Sully?
