I think tonight we did that. It’s just a great feeling, finally breaking through in that third (period) there. Everyone in here feels about 60 pounds lighter after the win."

When you go through a tough time like this, nothing comes easy. Just to get the win, and get on the right track again, I thought we played a good 60 minutes. I thought we outplayed them. We didn’t outshoot them but I thought we outplayed them, especially in the second period. They iced the puck a few times, just hanging on, but we just couldn’t bury it. We knew if we kept on going like that, we were going to get rewarded sooner or later."

He’s an impact hitter, any time he wants to be. I think it just sets the tone for the game, and everybody on the bench really feeds off of that kind of energy. It was important for us to go out and get a forecheck going here tonight, and take some bodies, and I think there a good follow-through by other people. Now We have to build on it. We just have to make sure we're taking this energy, this momentum, and continuing on. We've got to get back on a winning streak. You've got to put five, six, seven games together now, to keep yourself on pace with the rest of the league."

- Next HOME Game -

NOTE : Regarding LARGE SIZE IMAGES / YELLOW RE-SIZE IMAGE BARS ABOVE PICS, let me offer up one nice little suggestion ...
This will get rid of those pesky yellow resize bars over the top of some larger pictures ... as they annoy the hell out of me and maybe they do you also ?
- Go into/click on your "USER CP" {control Panel} up top left in the red bars
- on the left under 'Settings & Options' click on "Edit Options"
- scroll down to 'Thread Display Options', and then 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- click on the 'Drop Down List Box' over on the Right of 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- select it to "KEEP ORIGINAL SIZE"
- SAVE your selections !
There ... now don't that look MUCH BETTER

Defense is the new forward.

How about Johnson on the LW with Kopitar?

Saw the Wings vs Ducks game last night and the Wings are playing really well. I think Kings will come out tonight and play well. 3-2 Kings win.

Nope that website was the bomb, had ALL of them premade for the most or would get them updated due to player transactions pretty fast (though I did have to make/edit a couple, like Willie Mitchell, Schenn and Loktionov for the 1st month), they had them for AHL teams too, and other sports, baseball, football basketball, really a cool little site. I hope it comes back up online soon.

Murray heeds my pleas to chuck his Goalie plan out the window...

http://lakingsinsider.com/2010/12/04...w-goalie-plan/

I like the new plan, let Bernier continue to work with the coaches on dealing with traffic and rebounds while Quick can thrive with consecutive starts and build some momentum. It will be good, until February where this team is going to need Bernier to perform well and give Quick his rest for the stretch run and hopefully the playoffs.

At least he still acknowledges that overplaying Quick down the stretch could be a problem.

Peter Harrold on D again (so much success with him in the line up) and DD44 as a LW on the fourth line, that is the best that we can do? So we have no depth on the farm at all for D or fourth line LW?

Fire Terry Murray, Fire him now. Fire him today. Fire him fast. Fire Terry Murray. This is the *exact* same thing that he started pulling that got him fired in the past.

LOLOLOL when trying to decide a winner the first thing I do is compare 4th line's and bottom pairing D.

Only chance the Kings have is if Osgood is rusty and the Kings actually bury their scoring chances.

We'll see how it goes... Not fond of Murray throwing away the goalie plan and deciding to overplay Quick again, but hopefully he holds up better this time this year. This will be a good test game for us to see where we stand on turning around our slump. A big momentum boost can be gained with a win here. GO KINGS!

We can only hope that Quick's off-season conditioning pays off. He dropped a lot of weight and got stronger (and quicker)
