Yet again, a forward scores immediately once separated from Gomez. I know Halpern ahd nothing to do with it but the fact that it always happens is a bit funny.

He's German swiss. This is akin to saying we should butcher french canadian names because they are canadian and we're not from France...

If RDS screws up with Weber's name its not with the ''V'', but more with the ending (Houde says ''Veberre''). It should be ''Veber'' with the ''er'' sounding the same as ''uber'' or slightly like ''super''. Houde's pronunciation is semi-german, semi-french (in usual RDS half-assed job fashion).

I'm no german phonologist but this is what I gathered on the subject.

I love the depth on this team. Sure only Price and Plekanec are legitimate contenders for individual awards but we have 8 players with 10 or more points - Pleks, AK, Cammy, Gionta, Hammer, Halpern, Pouliot, Darche.
Gomez, Spacek and Subban all have 9 points too. And Eller has been picking it up while Weber is a legitimate offensive threat.

Defensively we don't exactly have any Norris candidates and our 3 defenders with elite talent are either just starting their career (Subban), past their prime (Hamrlik) or out for the season (), but everyone plays there role and we don't have any absolute liability from positions 1 to 7. Yes Price is a big part of our defense being so good but like with Halak last year we need to give credit to the system and the defenders in front of the goal, they are better than the sum of their parts.

Maybe someone should interview Veber and ask him how its pronounced. But ive always heard Europeans saying things like "Ve haff vays to make you talk..." and so on so i say Veber is how it seems to be pronounced.

PS: ...but vhat do i know

Well, what to do now? I think Subban needs to play. I think the message has been sent...but the team has been playing great. Do you sit Picard? Weber played an amazing game. Picard has been solid too though. Wow. Whatever JM decides, people will be calling for his head. JM will probably opt to sit Weber next game even if he had another good game today.

Understandable, it's just every time a post like that is quoted. It takes longer to clean things up.

Anyways, thanks to all that reported the troll.

the insane part is, Markov is not 1 of the 7

i dont care, picard has been decent, but if you have to choose between sitting one of weber or picard, you go with picard

Weber is playing with an intensity AND steadiness ive been waiting for the last 2 years, and i know watching our D from the press box helped him with this

I know that +/- isn't the best stat, but anyway.

Team leaders in +/- right now:

Picard +9
Halpern +9
Darche +9

Solution: bench Pyatt, dress 7 defensemen.

Weber looks like a different player this year. Hes strong on the body and is much more confident in everything he does. We shouldn't have to chose between the two, He and Pk should both be playing.

Dont get me wrong, it's not a bashing on Gorges. I love the guy, But he looks either Tired or Injured. Let him rest and play Subban.

while i 100% agree, picard is the one id sit out

but whats funny is, picard is only 25 lol...even obyrne was 26...

Great Defensive team effort, a lot of players stood out:
Price (obviously)
The entire third line
Cammy (in the third)
Pleks
Weber
Hamrlik

After reading parts of that GDT, I've got to say that I have lost all respect for most Sharks fans. What a bunch of preachy whiners. If you didn't have a PK, chances are you got lucky on some calls too (which they definitely did).Guy who started the thread obviously dislikes the Habs, but whatevs.
