I think Johnny just mixed them up. Hammond doesn't actually visually put up the lines other than just stating what they'll be.

More than Jack being expendable, I think if he can bring someone back like Zach Parise, you pull the trigger every single time. Johnson + a bunch of prospects or picks... What we don't need to do is cast him out.

Actually, there were three of us: you, me, and Tonellisghost.

Also, I was one of the very few persons to consistently call for the adding of Dwight King's name to the list. LoL, he never even made it to our top 20 prospects. Three months later, he's playing with Kopitar & Brown!

How has Winston Wolf not made an appearance in this thread, yet?

This makes sense. I'd dump Jack for any top flight winger.

Mitchell is the guy on the shortest non RFA contract, and if we don't re-sign him we will need a, tough stay at home guy to replace him....Teubert could fill that role, Muzzin possibly too because has plays every kind of game....so Drewiske is the odd man b/c Martinez becomes that 3rd puck mover....and I don't see Drewiske sitting around as a spare part like Harrold until Mitchell leaves...

Puck movers:
Doughty
Johnson
Martinez

Possible Replacements: Voynov, Hickey, Muzzin, Harrold

(All young not going anywhere)

Stay at Home guys:
Greene
Scuderi
Mitchell

Possible replacements: Teubert, Campbell, Muzzin, Drewiske (I just don't see him sitting until Mitchell leaves in 2012)

Seriously? We are ready to dump JJ, who's just now becoming a solid 1 or 2 Dman, for Alex M who's played, what, not even ten games yet?

Actually very logical thinking. If it wasn't for the fact that they love Drewiske, I could see him being expendable.

What makes the situation even more delicate is that the puck movers are the guys that are more ready to step in that the stay at home guys...Teubert could logically replace Mitchell in two years....but JJ, Doughty aren't going anywhere and Martinez is still young....what happens to Voynov, Hickey...? How are they going to break in? Greene and Scuderi have long term deals....We won't have to worry about replacing them anytime soon....

If the Kings wanted to dump JJ next year would be the best time, Drewiske can't replace him and Hickey and Muzzin aren't ready.

He's played well, but wow a couple of games and all of a sudden Martinez is a LOCK?

But Wayne Simmonds plays great for two seasons and goes through one rough patch and he's in the doghouse?

There may be some other reasons why WS is in the proverbial "doghouse."

With the hole at LW, I'd be intrested in seeing what JJ can do up there when WM returns. He has great offensive skills and A-Mart is doing a solid job on the blue line.

Johnson - Kopitar - Brown
Smyth - Stoll - Williams
Poni - Zus - Simmer
Clifford - Lewis - Richardson

Scuds - DD
A. Mart - WM
Harrold - Greene
