Seamless Glass at the Bell Centre

After the hit on Weber TSN said the Habs were supposed to or had planned to "fix" the hard Bell Centre glass that some players have said increases the chance of injuries.

Is that glass really more dangerous than what's in other arenas, if so, why this hasn't the fix happened yet?

In this case don't blame the glass for hurting him when he got hit from behind
That said
This glass is pretty dangerous there is no give what so ever with it

Is there some upside to this glass, like a better view of the ice from the lower row seats? Wondering from a business point of view why the Habs would have an arena setup that endangers their assets.

The glass has no give. It's like hitting a brick wall.
