We have a game today! (@Senators)

One of those days where it doesn't feel like there is a game, but in fact, there is!

Matsumoto and Rodney up for injuries. Spezza out for Ottawa (I think)

Go Canes!

Note: Skinner is back ahead of Couture for rookie lead in points!

You got that right. I completely missed this on the schedule. It's like realizing at 2pm that it's Monday and you were supposed to go to work.

Brandon Sutter is not going to play because there is a rumor that Mikhail Grabovski will be in attendence and Sutter is scared for his life because Grabovski has a history of using dangerous weapons on his enemies.

Is Pitkanen out? The depth chart on the main site says he's a scratch. Is it a new years miracle?!

Yeah, Spezza is out. He's been pretty mediocre this year anyway (hurting the hell out of my fantasy team). Couture still has Skinner by a mile in terms of goal scoring too.

I'm expecting a solid outing resulting in 2 points tonight.

Interesting comment here: http://www.nhl.com/ice/preview.htm?i...vid=sb:preview

Quote:
"Our General Manager (Jim Rutherford) came in after the second period, and he wasn't very happy," Staal said. "He got the fire in everybody's gut. That doesn't happen often. When it does, it'll get you moving and it did tonight. We were better in the third and got a big goal by Dwyer to get the win."

Good luck tonight, and how do you miss a game? ahah, If you guys win your super close to the play-offs, if we lose, we are done, ahah.

Expecting a tight game, with out Spezza, the Sens will come out hard. Taking shots at any cost, because though he hasn't done great this season, he is still a vital part of our offense. Also expecting Corvo to score 3 points vs. his former team. (He always does.)

Is Jokinen out for tonight? I know he left in the first period last night, but we didn't get any details at the time.

Just listened to Maurice's interview from earlier today and he said Boychuk will play with Sutter and he see's some chemistry and comfort there. Said he liked Boychuk's confidence.

We'll see where this takes Boychuk, this is a big opportunity for him to 'make it impossible for the organization to send him back to Charlotte'. I'm interested to see where this goes.

I'm guessing the forward lines will look like,

Samsonov - Staal - Cole
LaRose - Skinner - Ruutu
Boychuk - Sutter - Dwyer
Matsumoto - Carter - Bodie

That will be $12.95. Thank you for shopping at Sheriff Bart's Avatars and Snitzengruben Emporium.

I'm using it elsewhere, and I'm rather fond of Sheriff Bart here. You are welcome.
