He does have very good straight ahead speed. But in terms of skating i dont think he moves all to well. He is not able to make sharp turns, he makes these slow wide turns and he struggles to change directions quickly
I really don't know what you're watching... he's a pretty good skater, especially for a guy his size. He isn't Carter, but few guys that big are.
Well he is 6'3 206lbs kid who is just growing into that body. You know?

Bigger players I.E. power forwards usually take longer to develop.

Kid if big and he may look a bit clumsy at times. I am no expert.
Surprised the 67's didnt take a flyer on him in the late rounds, he was in their backyard! The size thing makes sense with it being ontario, and why he was picked up by the Q.
It's a good thing they didn't, or he had a good chance of being a Shark right now. They really like drafting out of Ottawa.
