San Jose Vs. Chicago 12/11

Sorry in advance guys, this is probably going to be a mediocre GDT, but I wanted to do one. I do not have any Photoshop skills.

Vs.

Game starts at 7:30 Pacific Time

MY ARTICLE

The Sharks are not nearly as good this year, but neither are the Hawks. But, the Hawks are going to have to cope with not having Patrick Kane and Marian Hossa, their top two RWs. Their best RW now: Tomas Kopecky. Corey Crawford, while not as experienced as Niemi, seems almost like a Niemi clone, as pointed out in one of the articles. I see the Sharks taking this one but it will definitely be close.

PROJECTED LINES
:

Heatley-Marleau-Ferriero
Clowe-Couture-Pavelski
McGinn-Thornton-Mitchell
Mayers-Nichol-McCarthy

Boyle-Murray
Vlasic-Braun
Demers-Huskins

Niemi
Niittymaki

Stalberg-Toews-Skille
Morin-Sharp-Kopecky
Brouwer-Bolland-Bickell
Whatever scrub they throw in there-Dowell-Scott

Keith-Seabrook
Hjalmarsson-Campbell
Cullimore-Boynton

Crawford

Nice start for your first GDT.
I'd swap McGinn and McCarthy. Based on the number of scoring chances they had last game, I don't see why McLellan would put McGinn back so quickly.

4-1
Marleau x4
In all seriousness though
Couture, Ferriero, Heatley, Demers
Seabrook

Oh yeah, I didn't want to SNOG in the OP.

Sharks win 2-1

Braun, Marleau

Seabrook

I also hate to be a pessimist but I see Couture playing badly and cooling off quite a bit. He'll still be good in the D-zone but he won't be creating as many scoring chances and he won't put up any points.

Isn't there a GDT sign up thread or something?

Anyways if this is going to stand as the legit GDT:

SNOG

Refs: Mike "Legs" Leggo #3, Greg Kimmerly #18

Leggo is senior (both are about equal). Leggo is a poor skater, Kimmerly average. Expect a low PP count.

I see Keith and Toews playing extremely well and definitely not getting injured.

Brouwer-Bolland-Bickell
Whatever scrub they throw in there-Dowell-Scott

SNOG ........ (I have never won a SNOG ever .... so don't listen to me)

4-3 Chicago

Pavs, Marleau, Demers
Toews, Bolland, Sharp, Stalberg

Hard to know what Sharks team shows up. The rested Hawks should have the speed advantage after an emotional and long road trip. The team is improving a little slower than we'd all like. I expect this to be a close one but I'd give the advantage to Chicago and expect Patty to show up and score tonight.
