The Next 5 Games - Tough

vs Bruins
at Capitals
at Penguins
vs Flyers
vs Habs

I'm going to predict 1-3-1.

Hope I'm wrong.

Your thoughts on these next 5?

Someone posted in the GTD that those five games could be the season. I have to agree with that statement.

They need to win at least 3 of the six games to even have a hope (counting tonight's game). Any less and the hole will be too deep to climb out of.

0-5. Burke is forced into firing Wilson.

I hope the losing gets worse, frankly so we can have some heads roll in time for Christmas. This is a digrace.

This. If Wilson isn't fired after this stretch of games then it's never going to happen.

I think we'll beat the Penguins in OT and lose all the other games.

Burke will use the Penguins victory as an excuse NOT to fire Wilson, and the cycle will continue

0-4-1

After the game where we get a point Wilson will jest with the media about how we got a point and nobodies talking about it.

0-5. I can't see us winning any of those games.

If Wilson survives that, then I just don't know anymore.

One other little tid bit for us to choke on.

Of all the teams in the east , we have played the least amount of games against the west so far.

And we are entering a stretch where we play 9 games in 16 days.

And we still have 12 more occasions where we play back to back games.

The stars are aligning for a world class cluster fck.

Bad Karma baby , Burky is reaping what he has sown, with the Kessel trade.

Have to figure the board does not like to hear the paying customers booing.
I know Burke has full control but I think if the team stinks through the next games through Christmas that Burke will feel the pressure to pull the plug.
Brian "Santa" Burke does not like to make any tough decisions in December so Wilson can crap away a few more games this month.
I mean the team is 4-12-4 since their fast start. How pathetic is that!!!

We also have Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver after these 5 games.

I say 0-8.

I will say that we win at home against Philly, and lose in overtime... somewhere. Perhaps to Montreal.

1-3-1, and this is me being optimistic for a change.

We had a great sked so far ( only a few back to backs and no 3 in 4's . On top of that we had a a nice mix of road and home games ) . We couldn't take advantage of this sked and now that it turns tougher i see only dark days ahead .

After last nights game we need to win at least 3 of the next 5 to even keep within eye shot of a playoff spot . I don't see this happening and we'll be luckey to get 3 points out of the next 10 and that will put the final nail in the coffin for our season .

i have never cheered against the leafs but it'd be best for this team not to win any more, just so we can see a change behind the bench
