Kings 2, Flames 1...Thoughts and Tidbits!

- Great to see Scuderi get some more recognition. Love it when guys like him get recognition.

- Simmonds was in top form tonight. He constantly had his feet moving, chirping, throwing his body around, great pass on the Clifford goal, etc. By far the best he's looked all year.

- Lewis had another strong game. Flying out there.

- Another GWG to Kopitar. He really made his goal look a lot easier than it was.

- Quick with another strong game. Sucks that he didn't get the SO but a win is a win is a win.

- Martinez continues to impress.

- Kipper made some big saves to keep this game close for Calgary and some bad luck helped too.

- Rene Bourque playing tough guy with the spear. The league better look at that.

I hope Borque enjoys his vacation day the next game because he's getting suspended. Pure intent to injure. What other intent could there be?

Great win by the boys. It's nice to see them play this hard again. Sucks Quick didn't get the shutout. But, in the end, the win is all that matters.

Lewis looks great out there too. Alec is playing very well too.

Oh yeah, **** YOU, Bourque

that's the way i want to see Simmonds play

cheap and dirty spear by Borque at the end... way to go Quick for sticking up for his teammate

Borque's gonna get it the next time these teams meet

Man, Kipper was ON tonight.

We should have probably won 5-1/2, but he was making saves on everything and we couldn't get the finishing right.

Still a great win. We controlled the game throughout until they just pushed everything they had with 3 minutes left.

Wow, one of our best victory's this year, we played a solid 60 minutes and it's too bad they scored that goal at the end or else this would've been a perfect game.

And I love the increased playing time for Trevor, I hope that hard work turns into points soon

I like the win part but I hate playing Calgary. I want Giordano to get dominated and the Kings to win 7-0 with a Brown Hattrick. Sigh.

So I guess my all we do is lose lose lose remix was the cure because after I posted it, we won and now we won our 3rd straight.

As for the actual game, I was pleased. Keep it up Kings

Another ugly win for the Kings. Kings need to start finishing their golden chances.

Thank Quick for the win!

Congrats to Clifford for his first NHL goal.

Murray still makes strange line decisiins during the third periods.

solid game all around. Simmonds and Clifford collectively turned on Beast Mode tonight. Gutted they aren't on the same line anyway purely for the excitement

Ugly win? I thought we played very well lol, we controlled pretty much the whole game but just couldn't put the puck in the net

Next year:

Clifford-Schenn-Simmonds

Who's drooling with me? Nastiest 3rd line in the NHL

Richie told O'Neal that he's going to be okay. Hopefully that's accurate.

Kiprusoff had a fantastic game, pretty much kept his team in it. Our three power forwards had a good game too: Brown, Simmonds and Clifford.

Puck was bouncing tonight, tempo was high, lots of physical play, made for a fun game to watch.

Handzus hair!

That's why it was ugly. Calgary had some prime chances too. Could have easily been a 3-2 loss.

These are good wins to practice for the playoffs. I just want less anxiety during the regular season.
