i expect that gomez said at the last minute that he's fine to play. I really doubt they're sending desharnais down and playing boyd.

Bit retarded though, it's the leafs, why not test out a possible asset like desharnais against a team we should beat no matter what?

We are starting Auld? Really?

While I don't consider the Leafs a real threat to catch us, wouldn't you want to gain as many points against our conference and specifically our division as possible?

I've seen so many guys making AE tutorials for free and going full retard on the production, happy to know you are not one of those... not that there is something wrong with that.

I remember your prediction, the night the Habs played the Devils.

So by process of elimination, the score will actually be 6-1 Habs.

I know you were kidding, but just to jump on the topic, I was also a little disappointed when I heard (and feel guilty cuz I should have faith in Auld cuz he did put up some good performances...and we are now bffs with his wife), but then I realized we have Philly and Boston at home the upcoming week. Let's just hope for Auld to be awesome. Gonna be a talking point of course. I don't want to have to use excuses like "it was our backup". Just win!

And I get that, but we have a 3 day break after tonight. That's enough time for Price to rest, than we play back to backs with Philly and Boston and have another 2 days off after that!

I have faith in Auld too, it just ticks me off a little because the Leafs always play us hard and we lost last night so I don't want to see this turn into a losing streak... Could you imagine if we lose tonight (due to goaltending) and than lose to Philly and Boston (who won't be easy opposition) before going on a 7-game road stretch? There is going to be a lot of really ticked off people...

Komisarek not playing = less chance of winning because we're missing our 22nd player.

It's not just about resting Price. I'm sure he could play tonight. But Auld also needs his share of games. He played twice in two months.
Why are you thinking about the worst possible scenario??..
If we lose tonight...then vs Philly and Boston...and then go on our road trip...OMG!!..Horrible!..

Relax dude.

Interesting that DD has been recalled but is not playing. I guess they are rewarding his hard work in Hamilton with a one day NHL paycheck? I'd thought they were bringing him in to see if he can help out with the PP. I guess not.

Habs I/O reporting that Boyd is out and Weber is in. The Habs are going with 7 defensemen, 11 forwards.
