That just ****ing sums it up, doesn't it? Daley and Niskanen both pursue a puck slowly drifting out of the zone, run into each other, and the puck gets out. NOTHING GOOD EVER HAPPENS WITH BOTH OF THEM ON THE ICE

Loui gets a fortuitous bounce off the boards right to him in front of the net.

A Ralphism! "It's the classic Bachman/Doan matchup here"

However, they both kind of suck as crease monkey so the powerplay looks like crap.

For all his offensive creativity Richards has been incredibly predictable on the powerplay. He wasn't nearly as singularly focused on firing pucks into crowds last year. We need to find a onetimer threat as well.

Game was clearly a success since we finally scored a road PP. It only took 7 tries.

You only get tossed if the jersey comes completely off during a fight.

It pains me to see that being called a penalty in the NHL. The way Fiddler and most NHL players are all up in arms every time they can't hold onto their own stick makes me want to puke. Back in the day when I used to play, and I'm not that old by the way, we were told to hold onto our stick tighter in those situations. I would have been livid if that went our way.

Not quite. The misconduct comes into play if it's "completely off the torso," and that applied in this case. If was only on his arms.

The only reason he wouldn't have been tossed is if the fight strap was fastened but part of that whole system snapped, which is possible. I'm just surprised it wasn't mentioned on the broadcast.

Well there wasn't a fight anyways, so I guess it really doesn't even matter, but good to know thank you.

I think it's clear that if Kari is still injured by next games vs the Sharks we will be seeing Bachman
