I was with you until I read that. The last 10 mins were insane for me. Habs had so many opportunities to tie it up.

Highlight of my night (besides winning): MacArthur dropping Spacek.

Burke is sitting beside Pat Quinn at Naslund's ceremony. With Ron Wilson being an incompetent fool, cue the rumors

Don't get me wrong, their fans are pretty brutal. But the team isn't.

Ok ok, but TONIGHT they were pretty bad.

Well, I was pretty tired anyways. Haven't been getting much sleep lately. But yeah, we got Edmonton and Calgary next, both beatable teams, let's hope the ball keeps rolling.

You guys gotta give props to Armstrong, don't believe he got a point but he was a huge plus tonight. Schenn was good, and I know you don't wanna hear it, but Phaneuf did what he was supposed to. Sjoey was also huge.

What got into Kaberle, he was actually playing a bit physical??? Huge Kaberle hater, but when he plays that all around game, he making me eat my words.

Everything at this point last week was so low. We all thought we would lose all the upcoming games. going 3-2 against those 5 teams is great. Lets keep the wagon rolling.

Armstrong was big, but I think we're coming to expect that. What strikes me about him is how strong he is with his stick in both maintaining possession of the puck and takeaways. He's huge for our team defence.

And yeah, who did Kaberle hit? I think it was.. one of the smurfs, maybe Gionta?

We should be fired up for Edmonton after that 5-0 loss to their youngsters. Against, Calgary, I think Phaneuf will have his best game.

I love Armstrong. I hadn't realized how good he is. Brings a lot of energy to the table.

Beauchemin did play pretty well, in fact since the first month of the season he's been pretty solid.

Some fight in Kessel, I like that.

MacArthur hurt little Spacek.

Schenn's hit on Moen was killer.

Phaneuf looks to be having some difficulty with mobility, but his leg was sliced open, so it's understandable.

Hopefully this proves to be something to build off of, but honestly, going 3-2 against the teams this week isn't bad.
I didn't even notice him or hear his name, but then again I was a little distracted with other stuff and the bad feed.

It wasn't just one hit, he was actually bodying people off the puck. It was his best all around game I have seen. I really hope he plays that style all the time. He still got a bit shy around taking the hit, but he was much better in his own end.

Good win. Not always pretty, but got the job done. Schenn was great! Got burned a bit on the Cammalerri goal, but Giguere seems pretty weak on long shots to be honest. Looks like he drops to his knees whenever he loses sight of the puck.

But decent game overall. Not particularly remarkable.

Sjostrom had a great game! Also, Kadri didn't seem to get too much ice time.

By the way, I'm not sure if the commentators caught on, but after MacArthur went Spacek, it was clear it was retaliation to a hit along the boards a little earlier, not because of that bump in the middle of the Leafs zone in front of the net.

One trade that is looking great for us is the deal with Calgary. I give credit to Burke where it's deserved. Aulie, Sjostrom, Phaneuf three good pieces.

Luke Schenn has been phenomenal. He plays with such patience, no fear of losing the puck, always ready to be agressive. The guy had two hits in 10 seconds, stole the puck all together.

Clarke MacArthur you made my day, sir. Spacek needed that one!!

and OMG, Kessel was fighting for the puck at the back boards. Was I dreaming?! That was unpredictable and that's what led to the goal. If he plays with this unpredictability, he'd be a lot more successful.

He made some good plays. Notably setting up Kessel for his goal, and handing his stick off to Beauchemin when Francois's stick broke.
