Luke Schenn - False Alarm
Quote:
Schenn finally to dressing room at 10:40 a.m., 15 minutes after blocking shot with right skate. Update after practice.

Schenn tried to return, but has since left #Leafs practice. Took the shot off his right leg it appeared.
Per Jonas640
Hopefully he's alright and its not too serious. If Schenner is out for any period of time, consider this season finished if it already isn't.

You just never know with shot blocks. Hopefully it's just a stinger and he'll be back for tomorrow's game.

Come back Schenner! I would think Aulie would be back in the lineup and Gunnarson. I don't want to see Lebda or Komi gah!

What is Wilson thinking? Should they not be using sponge pucks at practice?

Schenn has been Leafs best dman this season and missing him for even single game will hurt the Leafs.
He is one of the players Leafs can ill afford to lose for any amount of time.

Schenn says he's okay after taking puck off inside of right knee -- off a nerve. Got ice on it and says he'll definitely play in Edmonton.

With the shooting accuracy of our forwards/defensemen, I doubt he did it on purpose.

This thread title is unnecessarily alarming. There are two other tweets by Jonas now that both say he's fine.

please don't block shots in practice. save that for real games. and if you wanna practice blocking shots, do it with the lighter pucks to get your positioning straight.
if schenn is out, we're screwed...

I figure they should practice using waffles instead of pucks.
